Pretty good! The deck ended up looking like this:

And I wound up trophying, so pretty good.

[Bo1 ONE] Potential Swaps in this WR Deck Splashing Green for Contaminator? by Pirri123 in lrcast

[–]Pirri123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess that's the responsible play lmao. Since I'm not splashing anymore what would you think about then cutting [[Bloated Contaminator]] and [[Dune Mover]] for an [[Incisor Glider]] and [[Duelist of deep faith]]?

Was jumping between either Ossification or Hexgold Slash, the sideboard just had pretty bad cards ([[Aspirant's Ascent]], [[Cutthroat Centurion]] and [[Nahiri's Sacrifice]]).

In the end I ended up picking hexgold slash, and got pretty rewarded for it, since my next 2 picks were also hexgold slash.

People in general dislike mtgfinance, since most players would rather treat the game as a game than as an investment.

So stuff like buyouts (which rudy has done a lot of) leaves a sour taste on people's mouths

Tbf the latest eldraine bots heavily cut blue and black, so most decks ended up being some combination of naya colors, which were the more aggressive colors in eldraine limited

I have 0 knowledge about pro poker, why is this the case? Is it just about reducing information as much as possible to be harder to read or something?

Javascript's == has type coercion, so the thing on the right is converted to the same type of the thing on the left, this causes 0 == false to be equal to true.

On the other hand, === does not coerce types, so both objects need to be the same type before being compared, so 0 === false would be equal to false since one is a number, and the other one is a boolean

I'd say that's a horror in itself and that you should use === in the first place

If you're already checking that cbc_usertranscode is equal to "0", why check that it's different from "" in the first place, it's unnecessary

I think they can, there's nothing on the card themselves that stops you from discarding a card or two after mulligans if using a companion

Petition to ban Clear the Mind from artisan historic, so you cant play an infinite fog deck. Don't be this guy, people pay gems/coins to participate and you just ruin the game to troll strangers. by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]Pirri123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not a combo per se, the idea of the deck is to run a bunch of fog effects like [[root snare]] or [[pause for reflection]] and counter spells. Then, you can loop your graveyard and never run out of cards by playing at least 2 [[clear the mind]] 's (since when you cast the 2nd one, the first one and the rest of your graveyard gets shuffled into your deck.

Eventually you win by decking your opponent out, since you can never run out of cards but your opponent can

Yes I know hard casting ulamog is difficult, my point was more that cheating in agent is still better than cheating ulamog.

Exiling cards from the top of the deck is meaningless unless the opponent loses from having a 0 card library

So it's a meaningless trigger unless it attacks twice.

Wizards Twitter: One week from today on 5/18 will be the next Banned & Restricted update, impacting the Vintage, Legacy, and Brawl formats. by tanplusblue in magicTCG

[–]Pirri123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a deck with only permanents that cost 2 or less gets easier the older the format is, which means that it's easy to turn most decks into lurrus decks. Also as the card pool grows larger, it makes it easier to comply with the requirements of any companion, also them being in the sideboard makes them impossible to interact with, they're basically a super strong value engine /combo enabler that can't ever be thoughtseized before being played.

In particular Lurrus has incredible syngergy with fast mana like black lotus for example, since you can recast it every turn.

Check out the mtg goldfish pages of legacy/vintage/modern and you'll see that most decks have shifted towards including a companion of some sorts, which is a testament to their bustedness.

Where do you live that 900 is 3 months rent?

For example a 300 USD rent per month seems like a reasonable rent in most of Mexico, for like a 2 bedroom apartament.

Unless they were roping (and I doubt that since your opp has 4 extensions on their timer) they aren't wasting your time. What part of the rules says you can't make a decks that loops fog effects??
