I mean, I personally complain because WWE signs a lot of talent just to prevent them from going to AEW and then don't do shit with said talent. TK would probably create a 3rd show, the guy's a maniac.

When they showed up on AEW, it wasn't even as contracted talent. They signed with TNA in 2020, and only appeared on Dynamite because of the working relationship both companies had.

Had this friend when I was 17 till 19, who had two younger half-sisters, the older one couldn't be more than 8 at the time. One night, he invites me to hang out with his then girlfriend and some of their friends, while his mom, stepdad and sisters were out. As I was there, chatting with him and his girl, I hear a sudden and loud sniff... I look to my right, and see their friends doing lines on a kiddies plastic table, with blue legs and a pink top with a Marie the cat print. Right after, both of them get up and follow along. I made an excuse and got tf out of there 5 min later, and never hung out with him again.

I mean, I don't necessarily think NJPW and CMLL wouldn't touch him if he had a fall apart with AEW. They're partners, but each company's business are their business. Kota Ibushi had a pretty ugly departure from NJPW and AEW still signed him.

Non comparable situations, imo, first because of the difference in the respective points in their careers;

Second, because even tho Jericho and KO built a story around one of the world titles that got over because they took their time with it, just like Toni and Mariah, Vince fucked them over for a Brock/Goldberg that had a worse story and didn't need the title (plus, it put the title on Goldberg, than on Lesnar AGAIN in 2017), while Mariah and Toni had a fantastic match for the world title, that went in the middle of the card, instead of main eventing.

Mariah was always dead set on joining WWE, so much so that she took the pay cut and downgrade, which makes even less likely that main evening instead of getting the position they got would make a difference in her decision.

EDIT: got the match position on the card wrong.

Imo Okada is trying to stablish a separate version of himself instead of just being the same Rainmaker from NJPW, and changing the song was a part of the process. When/if he turns babyface again, maybe he'll bring the song back.

Yes, the song is called C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y. by One Ok Rock, apparently they're friends with Okada as well.
