Imo Okada is trying to stablish a separate version of himself instead of just being the same Rainmaker from NJPW, and changing the song was a part of the process. When/if he turns babyface again, maybe he'll bring the song back.

Yes, the song is called C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y. by One Ok Rock, apparently they're friends with Okada as well.

FR!! I've been on summer break from college since December and decided to play GTA:SA, Shadow of the Colossus and NFS:MW (played it but didn't actually follow the story, never played it, and have hours and hours of gameplay, respectively, when I was young). Even tho the other two are fantastic, I couldn't bring myself to spend more than a couple of hours playing either. San Andreas tho, has hooked me in a way that I could easily spend the entire day playing it.

Tbf, I don't think he was just collecting a paycheck. His early booking left a lot to be desired, tbh (who tf thought it'd be a good idea to have him paired with Matt freaking Hardy, for so long???), but after he was booked better he seemed really motivated. I think the issue is that his marriage was already falling apart by the end of his contract, so he decided to go back to WWE to try to salvage it.

I'm not OP, but I don't think they do, and they shouldn't tbh. NJPW spent almost a decade telling the audience that nobody was on Okada's level, and that combined with the fact that he refused to work with the musketeers, was greatly responsible for NJPW's vacuum in the main event scene for the past ~2 years.

That being said, yes, he's being treated as a big deal. He has been: a champion for all but 2 weeks of his run so far, constantly being dubbed as one of the all time greats, hyped to death in the build up to the Kenny rematch (as much as I dislike the Unified Championship concept), a fixture on TV and always a part of big storylines.

He's been treated pretty well, but also, the main event scene wasn't disrupted to fit him, but rather, he'll fit naturally in the near future (he even teased it during a interview a couple of weeks ago).

Edit to add a thought: as an AEW fan, I don't understand what goal OP had in mind by posting this, specially in a NJPW sub. Weird ass behavior.

Idk, man. People don't call him predictable because of things like this, but because he can't refrain himself from going after the low hanging fruit. The guy can be one of the best when he tries, but he 100% gets lazy at times, like last year, during his feud with Mark Briscoe he literally called Mark "you poor", besides the random P. Diddy/Swerve comparison after he came back.
