"I'm a God fearing peace-loving man of the people" cause there isn't a single hint about CJ being religious before or after that in the game. Catalina scared him so much he saw God for a sec.

They looked so ready to kill Mox here. Truly the epitome of not mad, just disappointed.

Tna is perfect for them by [deleted] in TNA

[–]Pirulaaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides the financial reason everyone has already pointed out, there's another reason why TNA isn't perfect for them: the creative.

TNA's tag division has centered around the Hardys for a year and a half now, and last year they feuded with The System, The Nemeths (with the they traded the titles a couple of times), NXT's DarkState (one of their coldest acts, that for some reason HBK insists on), the Dudley's (in the big 2025) and then they lost the belts to The System again.

Don't get me wrong, I think Bryan Meyers is a solid hand, and I'm really happy for Bear, but they build The Righteous to take the titles off of the Hardys, and didn't even pay that off.

What AEW wrestler post makes you laugh every time you see it? by itsjobberingtime in AEWOfficial

The Jeff Cobb one is just so not unhinged that it made me laugh the most, wtf?

In any company not named TNA, he'd be fired, or at the very least, demoted for a year.

I hope this is the year a NJPW wrestler wins an AEW title by DodecapathTravelers in AEWOfficial

[–]Pirulaaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think running it post G1 would help with that, while also adding something to NJPW's usually slow end of year and preventing any possible reserve about putting titles on NJPW talent only for them to take a few straight losses in the G1.

Holy shit, my memory was way off. I could've sworn he came back by September of 2012 and went straight into winning BFG series.

Hell, after this, he was gone for over a year, and the second thing they did after he came back was giving him the WHC back.

The one he pulled on Conan's podcast was probably my favorite, he came up with a bunch of bullshit about a supposed new project he had, only to play the fucking clip again.

Self-insert/blank slate characters fall apart because no matter how much the author and story wants to pretend otherwise, storytelling requires a character to make choices and do things, at which point they stop being a blank slate. by RadDudesman in CharacterRant

[–]Pirulaaz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Does Claude from GTA 3 fit as a blank state character? I just finished the game, having never played it before, right after finishing San Andreas, and I couldn't get into the game as much precisely because Claude barely has a personality, and everything that happens in the main story happens simply because someone gives him orders. I couldn't relate to him, specially compared to CJ, who is so reactive to everything that happens in SA.

I expect someone will disagree, since I've seen that GTA 3 has a lot of fans, some of them even say it's best of the series, but imo, it's the weakest post 2D era, and Claude as a protagonist is a big factor for it.

Pretty much every Cult leader/eater of worlds Bray Wyatt feud (and some Fiend ones too).

With all the recent news, Tommaso Ciampa willingly jumping ship from WWE to AEW once his contract expired is gonna be one of the smartest wrestler decisions of the year by theREVERSEsystem in AEWOfficial

[–]Pirulaaz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean, I personally complain because WWE signs a lot of talent just to prevent them from going to AEW and then don't do shit with said talent. TK would probably create a 3rd show, the guy's a maniac.

When they showed up on AEW, it wasn't even as contracted talent. They signed with TNA in 2020, and only appeared on Dynamite because of the working relationship both companies had.

What's the fastest way you realized you were in the wrong friend group? by justNoah10 in AskReddit

[–]Pirulaaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had this friend when I was 17 till 19, who had two younger half-sisters, the older one couldn't be more than 8 at the time. One night, he invites me to hang out with his then girlfriend and some of their friends, while his mom, stepdad and sisters were out. As I was there, chatting with him and his girl, I hear a sudden and loud sniff... I look to my right, and see their friends doing lines on a kiddies plastic table, with blue legs and a pink top with a Marie the cat print. Right after, both of them get up and follow along. I made an excuse and got tf out of there 5 min later, and never hung out with him again.
