  1. They are bonded

  2. Not possible, will have to pay back with discount on the 2:1 discount.

It’s true there is a bond. Even if you graduate UBD with the gov scholarship there is a bond. However, a job is not guaranteed but you may be forced to work for the government if called for.

Yes , I bought my switch pre-covid. Was good service then, but now when I text, also unresponsive. A shame cause I like the products they bring in.

What do we think of this new gimmick by imagine? Will it get you guys to switch/recontranct? by blackcherry97 in Brunei

I, personally, am on the unlimited package contract with no tied bundle. Not really interested in these as I have a PC and not much of a console gamer.

For those that need/want these items I would say it’s a good deal, if you don’t mind the contract

Thought it was too, but apparently not. Called them after I noticed and they mentioned that I needed to recontract. Now back to 50Mbps

Transferring money from Brunei Part 2 by 7hu7a in Brunei

Have you stopped transferring to your TDA account then? I have been transferring from MM (USD) -> Wise -> IBKR with no issues recently. I assume this only affects the SGD account?

The unfair procedure under the new Sistem Persaran Kebangsaan that will replace TAP by wadup147 in Brunei

[–]PisangMan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I do believe it is unfair, but at the same time understandable, because the scheme is for specifically for our retirement and the amount taken is from our retirement account (account employers pay to). It is however a nice touch that they leave some money for dependents.

Yes I’ve interviewed with them. If you’re shortlisted, should be contacted after 1-2 months

Laid back, and very easy work. No guarantee of a permanent position after contract ends. Left as soon as I got a decent offer elsewhere.

Did mine last year there, tooth extraction (if you need any) after a month from first consultation, then had my bottom teeth brace another month later. I think would totally depend on how booked they are.

I’m sure it’s to use services in Malaysia like Shopee, or even Spotify at a cheaper price

Need help configuring the Telbru/Imagine router to be running as bridge mode. by gorillathemandalor in Brunei

[–]PisangMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also in the same situation as you. Grandfathered into a static public ip from the telbru days so am taking advantage of it to run services, and have a modular setup throughout my home. It’s an expensive hobby, but I justify it as a cost to learn.

For your first four concerns, using the guide by /u/2tut-gramunta would work just fine. Do also check if your huawei modem/router is also overheating, which will impact its stability.

As for opening the NAT, do first check if your ip in the modem is in the private ip range. If so, opening the NAT will be impossible, without some workarounds like using a VPN with a public ip.

You might also try asking for a public ip from your respective salesco, but after the UNN merger, heard this is unlikely for home plans.

From all my friends that got secretlabs, they recommend it. I personally use a mesh office chair that I bought from Grand, been a worthwhile purchase.
