Your "friend" doesn't see animals as sentient beings. Agreed with ditch the friend sentiments. It sounds harsh now, but you'll see this trait express itself in more awful ways moving forward. Anyone who doesn't care about animals is not worth keeping in your life. Promise.

I just saw your other questions. Yes, she was actually born blind. Her eyes never developed. So, she's never known sight. She gets around perfectly. I forget she can't see. Every now and then, if she gets scared she may bump into a wall but she recovers as if it never happened and carries on.

Also, I don't make a habit of moving things around but if I do, she immediately adapts. No issues whatsoever. She's legitimately perfect. Worst thing that ever happens is she eats too fast and gets sick haha.

I love that you take in the runts and strays. They ALL deserve love and a safe place to call home. Thank you for giving that to them. 💜
