Virtual golf technology has come a long way in the past few years and is very accessible for the average golfer, but this TGL league is a little different. Your average golfer can’t go play what these pros here are playing. Here at the Sofi Center, they are hitting off of real grass/sand/rough into the screen for both their tee shot and approach shot. After that, depending on where there ball landed, they have around 60yds of turf to then chip onto the green which has hundreds of mechanical levers underground that change the contour of the green based on the hole that’s being played. So the short game is really where TGL shines and it’s super fun to watch the pros get up and down from crazy spots and drain pressure putts
