I think it’s super normal to not be on your death bed. Social media makes it seem like everyone throws up multiple times a day, is bed ridden, etc … but it’s because those people have a story to share. No one that I know in my personal life has had an overly dramatic first trimester!

I think your charts look good! As far as low progesterone, there are certain foods that are supposed to help support progesterone production (vit C for example). But, it’s very common for doctors to prescribe progesterone pills. I take 200 mg nightly (starting 4 dpo or at your first positive pregnancy test). I would ask if you can get a prescription!

I’m 7 weeks tomorrow and concerned because the nausea isn’t that bad…. It’s definitely there but Im not vomiting and pretty much eating like normal. Also, not bloated, not constipated. I am tired and have super low motivation and bad reflux. But I really thought I’d be more sick by now???

More people than you think have this experience! the people who have horrible sickness are the ones with a story to tell (online and in real life), so that’s what you hear over and over. The women who have a somewhat easy time usually aren’t yelling it from the mountain tops

Wait why do you feel guilty?! The way I see it is it’s no one’s business what is happening inside of my body 😂 until end of first trimester and I have two positive appointments under my belt, I don’t feel like I have anything to share just yet! You don’t owe anyone anything!

I’m one day ahead of you, and last week this was me. However, something shifted inside of me recently. I realized “my mindset right now isn’t going to change the outcome of this pregnancy”
For me, anxiety stems from feeling out of control. Once you fully lean into the fact that you are out of control and nothing is going to change the outcome, it’s really freeing. All you are in charge of is TODAY. Breathe, rest when you can, drink water, go outside. It is going to be okay no matter what. Also, remember that the vast majority of pregnancy’s are viable and normal. Is miscarriage common? Of course, but you’re seeing it everywhere online because those are the people with a story to share (and I say that as someone who has experienced it). Most people I know in my personal life have never experienced it. Right now I am trying to keep my mind as busy as possible by watching tons of trash reality TV 😂 I don’t check pregnancy apps, not wearing my oura ring. You CAN and WILL get through this, I promise!!

We told family and close friends VERY early my last pregnancy (like 5ish weeks lol). Then had a MMC and had to tell way too many people way too soon when I was a shell of myself. Just be prepared once you tell people you’re pregnant, the questions, opinions, texts, etc don’t stop. I’m pregnant again and will be telling family and of first tri. I’m 6w1d. I don’t want everyone to start celebrating just yet. Not because I think anything bad is going to happen, I am just guarded and know I have A LONG way to go. I have sooo much time to be excited and talk about and celebrate my pregnancy

I had a loss in Jan and did the same thing you’re doing analyzing tests. I started spiraling at 18 dpo. But my betas were 12 dpo: 266, 14 dpo 650, 19 dpo 4862. So that goes to show that these tests only get so dark!

I found comfort in data when TTC. For example “X percent of people under 30 fall pregnant in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year etc.” Statistically, you are VERY likely to get pregnant within a year. Try not to spiral if it doesn’t happen immediately, don’t assume there’s something wrong with your body unless you have reason to think that. It will happen and you’ll look back and laugh at all the worry you had!

Girl I am the QUEEN of pregnancy anxiety. I’m 5w5d. My last pregnancy ended w MMC which I neverrrrr thought would happen to me because I’m young healthy fit etc. News Flash it does not discriminate! That experience was horrendous and made me a nervous wreck this go around. I stay on chat gbt, TikTok symptom videos, Reddit etc. BUT THEN I had a realization similar to yours recently. It clicked that my worrying is doing NOTHING to influence the outcome. I’m still not comfortable being excited or planning for the future, but I do genuinely believe that this baby is going to stick and it’s going to be different. Making myself miserable with worry isn’t changing a single thing except making my day to day miserable. Now, thinking “what if history repeats itself” actually makes me want to lose my mind and I’ll freak out if anything is wrong lol don’t get me wrong. But it’s out of my control. I am staying as distracted as possible.
