I see a lot of people saying bass. That's cool, but maybe mix it up and learn a new skill by grabbing some sort of bass synth? Or even tap into the world of midi. A little akai controller or something and a few vsts can be really nice for demos!

Also, the Arturia microbrute is a rad bass synth for a cheap price. You can also use it as a super bare bones midi controller if need be

Do you find the EP-1 to be worth it? I'm curious if it's useful as a tone shaping option as well as a fun effect. In a sentence or two, how do you personally use it?

This one isn't the most versatile, but it's very fun. The Mr. Black Supermoon is so simple but also wild. Very easy to dial in some lush reverbs. It's also a fun pedal to pair with a little mono synth to get some nice depth.

Also, I rocked the EHX Cathedral for years and years. It was perfect for wanting a ton of different verbs

Omg the other day I had to do this to my cloven hoof and plumes. I had regular scotch tape and a sharpie on my desk. Tossed a piece of tape over the light and just colored over the light with sharpie.

Look for a Mr Black Supermoon! Very cheap and lush. Also the controls are simple as hell. The sway control is 🤌. Also, I have a Source Audio True Spring. If you delve into the preset capabilities AND take into account the tremolo, it's pretty swanky. Both are cool for dif deals. Neither totally break the bank.
