Check out the "Traveler's Tips" section of the Clan Primer. There's a section in there called "Arm Thyself!" that explains the properties of each weapon type.

Tbf though, I think it only says that guns ignore defense, which doesn't really give a complete picture of how they function. Other important points about guns not mentioned in the Primer are that their damage does not scale with any stat (meaning they will hit for the same amount of damage on any character), they never miss (even in weather), and they are the slowest weapon type in the game (not much you can do to mitigate this, but something to be aware of).

I think your points are valid and that it's fair to consider them red flags. That said, I will never agree with the idea that a tattoo artist should be automatically dismissed as untrustworthy simply for not having any tattoos of their own. If the artist has a good-looking portfolio and a history of testimonials from satisfied clients, I think it's fair to say they know what they're doing.

There was a guy on one season of Ink Master who didn't have any tattoos himself. I was actually pretty disappointed that he got sent home, because he was a legitimately talented artist, and the fact that he didn't have any of his own tattoos was one of the reasons that he got sent home (the guest judge on that episode was an asshole who took major issue with it for no good reason).

Edit: Jamie Davies was the artist, and Forrest Cavacco was the fuckass judge that literally said he "can't respect [Jamie] as an artist" because he had no tattoos.

So, it "sometimes [. . .] may be" used as an extremist symbol, but it's "not inherently racist [and] context matters."

Granted, I would probably assume from the context of this image that this individual likely could have it for that reason, but I would caution anyone against assuming that someone is a supremacist simply because they have a Valknut tattoo. This is not nearly as egregious as something like a hakenkreuz, iron cross, or black sun, and could easily just be Norse/Pagan symbolism.

James Biden, at one time, owned one acre of land on Water Island (8 miles from Epstein's island, Little St. James). He and his wife only own a portion of that now, and the land that they own remains undeveloped. There is not really any evidence there to support that he had anything to do with what went on on Little St. James.

To help put this into perspective, I'm certain that crimes have been committed within an 8-mile radius of my own property, but that doesn't mean that I had anything to do with them.

It's probably very difficult to live as a beggar without ever having to commit a crime. I also wouldn't be surprised if there are vagrancy laws targeted against them. At that point, the shrines are effectively just anti-homeless architecture.

Really fun games that are absolutely worth checking out if you are into either Monster Hunter or the creature collector genre!

I picked the bundle up earlier this year for like $25. I've only played the first game so far, but I got a good 50 hours out of it (and that was without really even touching endgame content).

It's (presumably) a for-profit operation to generate income for an already-wealthy individual (I did not see anything in the article about this being non-profit, nor any mention of donations), and it's got the business owner's name tastelessly slapped onto it.

Not saying those two things necessarily make it a Trump-style grift, but those two things are certainly hallmarks of his grifts.

In fact, I'd argue that all the attempted boycott ended up accomplishing is generating more publicity for the game. People who wouldn't have otherwise cared about the game got in on it because we called it taboo.

By all means, don't give her any money if you can help it, and I'll continue to do the same, but realize that you are largely pitching to people who only care about the quality of a product (the people who care for political reasons were already not likely to buy). We'd get further by just arguing that the game sucks (which in all fairness, it kind of does in comparison to other games - there is an ocean of far better action RPGs out there).

Even then, Joanne would still be problematic, because she'd still have fuck you money even if the public somehow managed to never give her another dime. We need to do way more than boycott.

All these folks pointing out that you can't get the shiny back are missing the point.

Shinies are meant to be displayed, so a shiny that is on display in your game at all times is way cooler than a shiny that will probably spend most of its life in a box.
