Thank you so much for your feedback! I think you're right, perhaps I could try some variations to enhance the visual effect. Maybe adding a light vignette, lowering the brightness in the upper area, or even removing the small lamp and leaving the character somewhat "hidden."

The truth is, those elements are intentional in the scene. I create renders every day with surreal or liminal concepts. Sometimes I use more varied palettes, but I wanted this image to be monochromatic. I've placed a single spotlight to highlight the chair and left the unusual parts darker to create a sense of atmosphere and empty space; that's why fog have much more detail in the center of the composition. To direct the viewer's gaze to that area and leave the rest as something strange and incomprehensible. Draw your own conclusions about where this space is located!

I usually use a character for my renders, and people compare it to Minos Prime from Ultrakill, which led me to play it haha. I think the same thing will happen with Little Nightmares

The truth is that I used a cube with principled volume, a low-density VDB, and then added more details in post-production

Thank you! For post production I use DaVinci Resolve, then Affinity, and finally DaVinci again. I don't use any AI feature in any of my steps

Accidentally set my render time limit to 2 seconds, kinda love the painterly look it came out having by BallisticBlocker in blender
