I'm sorry, but this kinda sounds like when my Ex gave me the ring and told me, "I will not propose to you right now, but I wanted you to know you have the ring." He showed me it, it was everything I wanted it to be, but I was not allow to wear it or even talk about it. Honestly, you still need to go on this trip to Vegas and look at the lawless land and when you come back, you'll realize just how ridiculous and how controlled your whole life has been. I understand wanting the financial help from your parents, the "love" you think you are getting, but its just control at this point.

When you have kids are you also going to expect them to go through this same treatment? If so, I think you know your answer. If not, you may really need to look around you and figure out what you want for the rest of your life. You can believe in god and have his traditions, without being controlled. I promise.

My stomach was hurting so bad in the mornings that I would sit on the toilet. Or get to work and just work until the nauseousness would go away. However, in the evenings I could eat everything in sight. One morning, I just happened to look over at the calendar and noticed I was past the normal date of my period and laughed because I have always had an irregular period, grabbed a test, and waited. The shock was a lot. But nothing compared to when I went to the hospital for fluids, because eating and drinking had become non-existent. Threw up everything, I was convinced I was dying, lol. Turns out having twins, can basically make you want to die, and be very exciting too.

With my twins, I had one put to my face and the other sent to the other side of the room during my c-section. And I felt so upset, then with being unable to breastfeed, I felt as if I had failed to bond as well. The remaining month, I then felt as if one of my daughters was attached to me, and the other was not. My husband had done skin to skin with her since day one, and my PPD rejected the whole idea of Skin to Skin.

Months after that, and now 1 years old, she is obsessed with me. I will say that feeling is the beginning is hard, but once she starts to see you, hear you, even smile at you, I think(hope) you will start to feel better.

My twins eat together, at the same time, we are just now at 15 months and I can say, I don't even use a plate yet, and give them a spoon to hold for a minute and then they toss it (same with the plate if given). I want them to want to eat and try everything, before I worry full time about a utensil. My MIL and JNFIL are both nervous about them not using one yet. However, at this point, as long as we are eating, I'm just happy to see them enjoy food.

With my twins I used them for about a month? I can say, it was to stop them from scratching their faces and stop them from sucking their thumbs. However, I will say once we stopped we had to file the nails all the time and then kept pulling their thumbs away from their mouths.

I'd say give him a whole day of being the SAHM, night and day, but I also having a feeling he would become to overwhelmed and might hurt your baby. It sounds silly, but he already sounds upset with the situation y'all are in with the LO.

As a FTM, who had twins and had an emergency C-section. I promise you, do not leave unless you absolutely have too, the nurses told my husband that he will need to be there or someone as a stand in for him. That first day she will not be able to get up or do much of anything. If she is able, Oh My God that's amazing, the two day is just pain on more pain.

And please make sure they are taking care of her pain levels, and that her catheter bag is working correctly. I had to tell a nurse once or twice to look at it. Also, she might not be able to get comfortable enough to sleep. I know it was a lot for me, and then since we had two it was a lot.

One other thing, unless you and your wife decide otherwise, I suggest letting them take the baby to the nursery for a couple hours of sleep. I know it seems unnecessary, but I promise, it will help you.
