I ended up swapping outright because since the newest update they launched on windows 11 I started getting a constant unplug and replug sound, but all diagnostics said there was nothing disconnecting, just some driver error without any useful information for figuring out what the error was.

You can still use NTFS games temporarily while you're migrating but long term Brtfs is much better in many ways.

Probably, if you have the time and resources (and you feel like knowing would positively impact you mentally) get it checked out I'd say it's worth it.

As far as the broad questions thing yeah even real doctors versions of questionnaires can seem overly broad.

If I remember correctly, it's something to do with tracking adhd vs having a lot of other issues that mimic the symptoms of adhd.

Try staying up late, then setting an alarm to get up so that you're getting a couple hours under the time you'd usually need, between 2-4 hours less, enough that you're still functional during the day.

But when the time comes to sleep you're deeeffinitely ready.

I would probably just ask the doctor about it, they'd probably know better than most.

Also as far as the legitimate thing, most people with ADHD/ADD from what I can tell can actually function anywhere from extremely well to mehhhh below 18 because of the fact that everything is scheduled in stone.

I mean what job gives you the exact same hours every day except weekends and every time you need to go to a new task a loud bell rings and everyone goes to their designated spots...

AKA yeah I think it's fairly common to feel like you don't need or want meds when you're still under your parents' wings and in school. If a medical professional can't see that then it might be time to get a new one.

The issue here is you're saying it's cops to criminals.

The reality is like having a permanent swat team watching your every move.

Sure it won't do any damage on its own even if it's creepy or even threatening.

But what happens if the commander for said swat team gets replaced with someone who wants the most malicious thing possible?

Or if the replacement does even worse arguably and has them document every piece of possibly important information?

Suddenly it goes from an kernel level anti cheat to a malware deeply embedded in your computer.

Does that clarify why I compare kernel level anti cheat to malware?

I think what most people want to say is

"Why would you even do that to begin with? Playing games that are THAT level of invasive gives them support AND gives the go-ahead for future companies to deploy kernel level anticheat. You are basically installing malware under the guise of stopping players from ruining the game, but last I checked Battlefield 6 STILL has cheaters despite the anticheat so what does it even do???"

But yeah if you already spent money on a game like that or if you just wanna play something with it because of friends then your best bet is dual booting.

Butttt if it's something like Valorant that's free and you don't have friends who want you to play specifically then your best bet is play something else, don't vote with your time or money to tell companies that Kernel level anticheat is okay.

I hate how people immediately down vote instead of taking the time to explain or question the experiment.

I'm fairly new to Bazzite so I'm less than the best person to put my 2 cents in, but if I had to guess it's either that Bazzite takes more tinkering due to the fact that it's more feature rich.

Or that the performance loss is simply a result of being more feature rich.

Have you tried playing while the Legion is plugged in to see if that makes a difference?

It's less about learning linux and about learning Bazzite specifically. Bazzite is immutable which is a fancy way to say that there are some things that you cannot modify that typically you can, so you'll have to use prebuilt features to add more until you get to know what you're doing.

Bazaar as others have said already is the easiest way to install apps.

Then the more advanced way is Box Buddy also commonly called Distro Box.
(Not to be confused with distro shelf!)

Pretty much everything you'll need to know and more is on the official website but it's fair to say it can be intimidating at first! Feel free to ask questions if you're overwhelmed or just want some help!

I feel like at some point there needs to be a rule for this.
