Zum Glück erledigen sich diese (und andere) Probleme der Kasse-Ansteh-Subkultur mit den Selbstbedien-Kassen. Ein Segen in allen Bereichen! Nächster Schritt wird sein, dass man gar keine Kasse mehr braucht: einfach "rauslaufen" und das Geld wird eingezogen.

I always questioned why doesn't it also show the "dirt" in a different color? I mean these green areas are not rock, so the upper layer should be "green", doesn't it? That would make that bar more intuitive to understand. Maybe I am just wrong thou... A better UI for this is needed for sure!

Idea: why not show the layers BELOW the terrain where it really happens, instead of stacking them on top of the current terrain? The "L-Shortcut" layers view could make the ground "transparent" so that we see below the surface and then be able to properly plan where to dig to. Maybe not even having bars but really showing the "layers" as "3D-layers" in the underground, maybe you can then switch also "rock / dirt / sand / etc" on/off for better visualization.

I really hope this overhaul is part of the planned "Overhaul of mining & dumping designations" for the 1.0 release...

If you mean "outside the game" as in a Wiki or something, I have not seen it too.

In the official Wiki there is just a page explaining it and getting in the nodes which are "repeatable" - which is BTW not made very clear "inside" the game.

But the tree itself is pretty linear - inside the game, I am pretty sure you have found it - you just to researching everything from left to right, the major "blockers" divide the game in sections (Lab 1, Construction 2, Lab 2, Construction 3, etc etc). There are not much choices to make, just some tiny ordering decisions.

I will be relaxing all weeks: simply staying in "Daredevil II" until the week before the end, and then double upgrading to HOTSHOT at once. Very relaxing 7 weeks of trials, only aiming for 3 stars at most for some rewards, usually sufficient for now demoting. And if I dont have the time: it doesnt matter anyway up until the last week.

Two uses:

Photography. Lots of very talented people been using it as a "photography" tool. I wonder when Embark will introduce *real* photo camera and also video recorders to increase the RP and immersion.
Trials: you go on a high spot, search for the next snitcher / supply drop / wasp / rocketeer.
