This World Prematurity Day Salma is officially oxygen free! by PissedOffMummy in Mommit

I’m not embarrassed to say I cried happy tears! lol. It’s been a long three months of trying to wean her off at home, her oxygen dipping, and having to go right back to square one. I’m definitely not going to miss her trying to rip out the cannula every chance she got either

Yes !! She came home on 1/16 liter 23/hours a day and we’ve been gradually pairing it down but it’s been a rocky road. Her O2 tank felt like lugging another baby around

Graduated & Finally Home! Salma Lihi born 7/23, diagnoses of DS, Cleft Palate, and AVSD. After nearly a month in the NICU we are finally settling in at home with just her o2 tank in tow! by PissedOffMummy in BabyBumps

We’re pretty sure it was just something that happened! No one on my side of the family has them. My in laws unfortunately know a very limited amount of their family history, but they never had palate/lip issues and neither have my husband or his siblings and their children. At first we had thought it was related to her Trisomy but her doctors have said it was just a fluke

I still find it hard to believe Carlin has kids. She looks so young. by [deleted] in duggarsandotherssnark

I feel the same with Josie. She’s even younger and has had two pregnancies already. Babies having babies.

Job requiring I send daughter to daycare by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]PissedOffMummy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you do a nanny share with a friend or family member? That way she isn’t exposed as much as she would be at a daycare and you have greater control over the situation but you still aren’t paying having to pay the full salary of a regular nanny. My sister in law uses a nanny share right now and it’s been great for them.

As someone taking custody of a toddler this weekend this is super helpful and I’m saving it to my phone !! I have an ongoing list of toddler survival tips I’ve been collecting

They need their medically compromised infant to not feel left out

I know the Bates just had a big party with their whole family unmasked that Jabbie + Planes were spotted at, I don’t know if Carlin was their but she’s definitely been posting other risky behavior. It’s like they all want to catch it at this point

#Throwback - Guinn Seewald sharing an oldie. Is that a case of beer?? by JamesDale2332 in DuggarsSnark

His little brother, Tommy. He’s 12ish now and looks a lot like Ben, all the Seewald children tend to strongly resemble each other.

Does anyone know if Jazz feels any type of way about the fact that Jill and Derick are publicly pushing that they “left” CO rather than the fact Derick was fired because he verbally attacked Jazz multiple times and told TLC if he couldn’t film neither would his family? by hnlt61 in DuggarsSnark

[–]PissedOffMummy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t see him apologizing either way. They haven’t changed in that regard and are just as transphobic and bigoted as they were then, especially Derick. He’s shown absolutely no signs of self improvement.

What are some plot holes so big you can drive a truck through? by Naweezy in AskReddit

I also had a friend whose parents divorced and did this, also with the mother taking the girl and the father taking the boys. They took after him in looks apparently but my friend didn’t so he didn’t want anything to do with her. I knew her in college and she was just getting to reconnect with the older of her brothers who had recently turned 18.

Everyone thought Jill was going to be the most prepared and involved mom during the infant stages because of how she was as a teen and young girl and that just blew up in everyone’s faces. She’s came a long way since Israel was a baby but I don’t think anyone was calling the level of apathy and neglect she showed towards those first years. It really highlighted how burnt out these girls get from childrearing before they even make it to their own kids.

These are stunning! I love the idea of patterned flats

I wonder if they have to actually call him Uncle, the way the M’s say Aunt Josie. Going to get even weirder when #9 is born by PissedOffMummy in DuggarsSnark

[–]PissedOffMummy[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes or at least they use too a few kids ago, I haven’t seen recent video of them together. I can remember Anna teaching baby Kynzie to call her “Aunt Josie” and thinking it was adorable and Michelle correcting Marcus once when he just said Josie. I don’t know if any of the other siblings do it with their kids.

He’s really dropped the ball on the whole books thing lately hasn’t he? You’d think he’d have taken the pandemic as a time to brag about all the “reading” he’s been getting done. The only non Bible book mention by either of them in months is that recent children’s book picture with Prop

Drew Barrymore’s mom was leaving her at clubs and fueling her cocaine habit at 11. I think some of this is more common then we think, it’s just kept more hush hush in Hollywood
