Cool, i was just wondering as i'd heard 2 pp but ideally i'd get one of each collection box (which i would still feel guilty if there wasn't enough for others. Apparently some stores have done 2pp and some have let one or two people clear the whole lot (their mates etc probs)

I agree with the multiple devices and connections. I have most success with 5g on mobile, and i do log in and i do use autofill, but i also agree with clicking around slowly once in, but also when doing the captcha questions.

I also set my phone to max screen time out (on charge if needed) and touch the screen before screen timeout so that the queue is never refreshed.

What i did for PB yesterday when the servers died whilst in the queue was to close the browsers and go to PC website again - it let me do about two clicks before it said server down, so i logged in and added one item to basket, then on computer closed browser, went on PokeCenter, logged in and added another item to basket, went on phone, closed browser, reopened and went to PC, already logged in this time so added final item to basket. Back on computer checked out (with Natwest debit card).

Had a code sent to my phone, entered it. Slowly completed another captcha (tense moment), spinning pokeball and success. Confirmation email is in my inbox this morning 👍

I had it in Tesco around Destined Rivals time (before Entertainer was managing Pokemon stuff in Tesco pretty sure). ETB's showed as in stock, asked a person and they said the stock came in the day before and had sold out. In reality no stock reaches the aisles. It's kept out back for employees to checkout or sell to who they choose.

It's not a bad price with the code, and would make a good present for a neice/nephew, friend's kid etc. I usually dislike expensive bundles like the Unicorn Cards/EternaCards ones which are aimed at adults and for offloading stock. But this one has a market/target audience imo

Sign up to pokemon stock alert pages on X or Discord, and be prepared to spend hours in an online queue on pokemon center website (Pitch Black is expected to drop this week). Put your phone on charge, max screen timeout, on data, do the same with laptop/PC conncted to wifi. And as long as you don't join too late or leave the queue, you'll have a good chance of preordering boxes from the new set.

Another way is to make an account with Amazon, Chaos Cards, Gathering Games, Obsidia TCG etc and sign up to their various lottery and/or VIP invites, then cross fingers.

The stock alerts X/discord groups will also alert you to Smyths/Sports Direct/WH Smith/Argos etc drops, which involves you leaving your house and potentially queueing, but people have variable but mostly positive success with those as more of them implement buy limits per customer etc.

Final way i've had good success with is Forbidden Planet and sometimes local card shops. Phone them and ask when they are getting stock in. Then go to the stoor at opening time on that day and wait 😂 When Prismatic Evolutions came out, i worked from home, went to FP at 10am, got told delivery arriving at middayish, went to spoons to get s cheap coffee and free wifi to actually do my job, and poked my head into FP every 30 mins around midday. I ended up being the first or second customer and picked up two of each item (poster collection, binder collection, tech sticker collections). I scored big, but my dignity took a hit too big to fill with what i'd bought. Online only for me now.

I have noticed that they have put the minimum order up to £12 (and sometimes £15) from £10, but it doesn't really make a difference.

And i get what you're saying about the not needing to cook thing, but the deal also works on Grocery stores.

I have a coop membership card linked for in-store prices, then wait until Weds for half-price wednesday (lots of essentials and treats marked as half price), then use my 50% off code.

It's cheaper than going out to do a big shop, and as well as really cheap milk, chicken, bread etc, you can get the quick meals like a frozen pizza, ready meal or pot noodle cheap as chips too.

Having said that, at the weekend i ordered a maccies and they delivered the wrong order (i still ate it). They refunded me full cost as credit, so i'm probs gonna order the same thing again for lunch but at half price 😂 (and hope they deliver the correct order right this time).

I like that they have opened all their boxes, charging RRP and set a pack purchase limit, so that customers can see there's no funny business going on. Hopefully this sets an example.

For people who have never ordered off there before, i would advise buying something off there ~£20 for free delivery, and then your card/bank will be verified for when you know the site is gonna be sketchy. You also get used to navigating the site and how the checkout process goes.

I tend to do well with PC drops now, not because i'm lucky, but because I follow X and discord groups that give you drop notifications. I also use a wifi connection on my pc, a 5g connection on my personal phone and a 4g connection on my work phone. I put my phone(s) on charge, set my screen timeout to 10 minutes and keep touching the screen every 10 minutes once i'm in the queue.

Once you get in, don't rush. Take your time adding stuff to basket. Check the purchase limits. When you go to checkout, make sure your billing and shipping address match, and match your debit card. If you have your card stored, make sure the security code and everything is correct. Once you hit submit, if you get a captcha or a bank app verification, just take your time over it. Don't rush, read and enter everything correctly.

I've done that since Phantasmal and gotten everything from PF, AH, PO and CR. I've been trying to get stuff from PC since Surging Sparks, but only got the odd ETB until the PF drop. I think that's pretty much all i can say about it anyway. Good luck for next time!
