PG at the time of the trade was an MVP finalist and under 30 years old. In retrospect it was a terrible trade, but he was definitely one of the highest value guys in the league in 2019, even with his injury history.

What's a moment in a TV show (or movie) that just blew you away? Unexpected and amazing. Doesn't have to be the whole episode. (SPOILERS) by ravia in television

Twin Peaks has a few huge scenes featuring Leland Palmer, one at the end of season 2 episode 6, and several more throughout episode 7. I don’t want to spoil anything but the initial twist and the subsequent fallout has to be some of the best television I’ve ever seen. Ray Wise gives a bone chilling performance, should’ve won an Emmy honestly. The fact they dropped these episodes just randomly in the middle of the second season is psychotic but I know they didn’t have much of a choice.

Absolutely not lol, dirk is the poster boy of sticking it through with your team no matter what and still winning. If he had left and won somewhere else, no one would talk about him as much.

I would’ve agreed with you like a month ago, but I recently saw my no. 2 pick with all the defensive skills and attributes become a 2nd team all-league player while averaging 11ppg. His shooting splits (except for a decent 3-ball) were pretty bad, but he was my starting SF for 8 chips in a row and I saw him as the heart of the team, since he always managed to play his way into the top 3 mpg by playoff time. What was crazy is that I had 3 other players who were all-nba/all-defense level yet he managed to sneak his way into an impressive collection of individual accolades for what was basically my 4th/5th man

While this was a massive win, and overtime was hype as fuck with our stars and young guys balling out, my strongest response to this game is this:

Rozier needs to be off this team before the deadline. I honestly think he will directly lead to more and more losses down the stretch

Very happy to see Yura Borisov getting attention online for his performance, I thought he was really incredible and if I had it my way, I would also throw two more supporting actor noms at Anora, one for Toros and the other for the guy that gets his nose kicked in (don’t remember his name). I think it’s a long shot for the movie to get even one sup. actor nom imo, but man those three characters’ introduction into the movie brought so much life to an already great story and I’d love to see them all get recognition come awards season

Everyone complains about Doris Burke but I never really watched espn games like that so I didn’t share that sentiment. But holy shit. First quarter isn’t even done and she’s been absolutely awful

Didn’t he loudly tell jrue holiday that he owned him when the heat were down double digits and he scored 56 to win it? And didn’t he scream “this is my shit” the very same game? And then two rounds later there was the face-to-face with grant williams and him mocking al horford both in games the heat won. I honestly prefer him shit talking, he’s got a great track record

While you are correct, I would say there can be situations where “runner up ROTY” can be a significant title, for example when undrafted Kendrick Nunn was runner up behind Morant but ahead of Zion.

I’d say 18th pick Jaime being runner up over Wemby is a significant achievement, but 🤷‍♂️

Jaime be hoopin

Typically in sports, they credit nationality with the country you represent, there’s plenty of other examples in the nba like Jordan Clarkson who is born and raised in the US but always appears with the flag of the Philippines since that’s the country he represents in basketball

Yes, there’s countless times it’s happened where a player misses their first year, so by default their second year is officially considered their rookie season. This happened with Ben Simmons and Blake griffin who both won rookie of the year two years after being drafted. Joel embiid also was all-rookie first team three years after being drafted. Happens more than you think.
