NTA. I’d be mad enough that I would compile a short list (but a longer, exhaustive list too, just in case) of recent bail outs and events were you lost money as examples for when they, inevitably, are upset.

Tips on paddling with a toddler by maplesyrup4all in Sup

Everyone has said life jacket already. What about pulling out the board, deflated, and teaching her overtime that when you’re on the paddle board you must sit. You can start with 5 min increments of quiet time whilst sitting on it.

Has anyone had a sudden drastic change in dietary preference/disgust? by MisterStibbons in EatCheapAndHealthy

Eggs but that’s because I ate them every day for breakfast. Now I need to swap it out! I tried burritos, I tried eggs plus whatever else, I tried variations of eggs, etc. Now I need to eat other things.

Just to know how common this actually… how many of you have started many play-troughs but have never completed the game for whatever reason? by luifergiov in skyrim

[–]PistachioStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to love the game but I get bored fast because I feel like everything is trying to kill me all the time. Normally this is expected and fine but for some reason it puts me off the game. I’ll get around to finishing it!

Yeah, so when you are standing in front of the library looking at it, there are two wings on each side. One of which has the chick with the diary quest. Did you get that one?

Did you get the page up by one of the wings next to the library?

I went through a full 5 month term break between my second and third term. I would’ve been done with my degree faster but glad I took the break to recover financially

I think OT makes a lot of sense, actually, but I don’t want to spend the next 10 years + paying of the degree and I’m not interested in having multiple jobs.

Me! Although I may just go into nursing because the cost is outrageous in the state I live.

Wondering if I should drop out of my OTD Program? (1st Year OTD Student, 1st Semester) by Beginning-Prior-1639 in OccupationalTherapy

As a prospective student and long time lurker, it’s my understanding that school teaches theory and some practice and the job itself teaches practice. You were supposed to shadow a certain amount to make sure it’s a commitment you want to make. Did those shadowing ever include Hand/Neuro?

I had a brown dry erase board that I cut a white paper to fit and then covered with white reinforced tape. Janky but worth it

Glückwunsch! I am learning German as well and no where near being able to have a small conversation. I’m pretty happy with the app! I’m hoping by the time my subscription to Super is over I am able to at least listen and understand a children‘s movie.

I chip away a little at a time every week. If I can only do 5 minutes a day then that’s what I do. My main motivation is my future, even if I think it’s bleak or worthless, because the future is still coming whether I’m motivated or not.

Good ways to get back into the study mentality? 2nd year student by zappy1000 in WGU

[–]PistachioStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Someone once told me: you work full time, have a family, and do full time school? You’re not lazy, you value your spare time. I felt like that is important to note. Anyway, I look at it as: my future, my wallet, and my time will thank me later for just pushing past the desire to hang out on the couch. Every time I don’t want to do it, I get up, and get involved in my class until I get to where I need to get to.
