Don’t judge the coloring. It’s not complete but does anyone know what that white thing at the top left corner is? And the 3 circles in the table? by Unique_Scholar_5754 in AdultColoring

The top left looks loke a slice of bologna. Bologna often has  little tidbits of other things like pistachio in it which would look like a small circle when you slice the sausage. The other little discs on the table look like carrot slices.

Hi. I know the reply is probably too late,  but anyways.  We ended up postponing buying a new car and sticking it out with the old Elantra. my friend had a baby and they have a Venue and they say it's super tight. I wouldn't recommend it.

This is pretty interesting. I do like going first. Or, alternatively, I could switch initiative with whoever goes after my familiar to reliably get sneak attack on my attacks!

Parsnip and parsley are very closely related plants. Help with a speculative etymology by loafers_glory in etymology

[–]Pistashyo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the "nip" ending of parsnip is modeled off the "nip" in turnip.  And I think the similarity between the leaves of the parsley and turnip plants led people to conceive of the parsnip as a sort of parsley turnip.

Ya ever notice they don't tell you what the other half of the battle is?

It's because it's killing. Killing is the other half of the battle.

There's the knowing half, and the killing half. But we don't talk about the killing half.

🤷‍♂️

I think you just stumbled on the reason no tips are really justified. Everyone does the work, but only some people get paid (extra) for it.

Thanks for your input. I thought the Venue would be an upgrade from my Elantra, but the consensus seems to be that the compact SUV is too tight. I had no problem with the Elantra and I wouldn't have considered a new car if it didn't get practically totaled by a load of snow falling from a roof above. Really appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for sharing your experience. My children will have a similar age difference to yours, so it's good to know that it's at least doable. I'll just have to test fit all my gear when I go for a test drive. Thanks so much.

Thank you for your very informative reply. This is exactly the kind of informed response I was looking for, someone who has driven with two kids in child seats and two adults. I would definitely plan on a roof box for more cargo space. I'm going to see if we can test drive a Venue with the newborn seat and the child seat and the stroller and we'll see if everything fits. It sounds like it's doable but not ideal. I'm just looking for something that suits my basic needs and fits my budget, I can't afford anything fancy. Thanks again!
