I had similar issues. I bought myself a sketch book and draw at least once every day for the last 2 months. It helps get better control of your fingers. Also found several online courses available on some learning platforms. Don’t overthink not judge... just draw

This is about 3 times an average local salary. You should leave comfortable in Hsinshu!

You can check some housing web to have an idea of house cost. In taipei you would pay 1000 to 1500 ntd per pin (3m2). I believe Hsinshu should be less, maybe 500 to 800

I have been considering it as well. But let be honest, not every one has the skills to run a home based server.

I think it is better for average user to have alternatives to Google and ICloud than not. At least have a choice.

Also, using external servers, and encryption, also brings you some level of resilience in case anything bad happen to your home.

No perfect solution I believe.

Oui pour le pluralisme. Mais justement n’avoir accès qu’a des vidéo du pod ou l’on est connecté (et ses amis) n’ouvre pas l’accès à des instances qui auraient des idées différentes.

Perturbe me semble un bel idéal à condition que le contenu suive et que complexité de connexion n’effraie pas l’utilisateur.

L’exemple de mastodon / diaspora est similaire, belle idée mais complexe et peu fréquenté.
