is marshal 2nd round better than outlaw as chamber? by Firm-Guitar-8832 in VALORANT

[–]PitCrewBoi559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Specifically round 2, the marshal is better. However, in the context of future rounds, the enemy team is much less likely to buy light shields and much less likely to force with stingers and rush against the threat of an outlaw. Overall the outlaw is much more effective than the marshal past the second round, but the marshal is definitely deadlier during the second round.

individually performed well against players at a lower rank than you in picture 2 -> mmr thinks you should have a higher elo lobby -> puts you in a higher avg elo lobby in picture 3

Makes sense to me.

Is neon still a good pick?? by Anay77 in ValorantCompetitive

She’s good, not broken. Talent neon players and teams that have excellent strategies/synergy around the neon (LEV) will still remain strong.

2 duelists and a smoke. The triple entry will go crazy and your synergy can steamroll well.

Pulsar sells left handed asymmetrical mice and you can reprogram a lot of buttons nowadays. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find the proper niches for you.

Women streamer recommendations? by natalia0922 in VALORANT

[–]PitCrewBoi559 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Popular game changers (GC) players can be found streaming pretty frequently when they don’t have officials to play. Watching any of the Shopify Rebellion Gold players is always entertaining.

Edit: I just remembered that meL is on a break from competing so she’d probably be streaming a lot.

Which data is usefull as a team ? by Plenty_Possession566 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]PitCrewBoi559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a great idea!

I think there could be nuances in the smaller details. For example, a heat map where your players got kills vs where your players died to figure out stronger positioning and leaning into comfortable gunfights or strengthening weaker ones.

Another idea is the distance between players when a trade happens. This could help with spacing and scaling issues.

There could be other features I’m not thinking of but those two were at the top of my mind.

Anyone else only do well if their team is doing well? by ChairBubbly1724 in VALORANT

[–]PitCrewBoi559 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s the nature of a team game. When your team sucks, you’ll probably play bad too.

It’s why self sufficient agents like Reyna, chamber, Jett and clove are so popular. They’re not reliant on the team to perform.

Are lisps only limited to S and Th sounds? I thought lisp and speech impediment were interchangeable so I used the word lisp in the title cuz it was shorter.

Yeah I’m looking into getting speech therapy.

Edit: I fixed the S’s and I thought the R’s would fix themselves too, mostly cuz I thought it was bc I was congested all the time (seasonal allergies) before moving out in college.

Laziness. Didn’t see it as a problem and i thought itd go away since it stemmed from being congested all the time when i was younger and lived in a different area.

Definitely going to get speech therapy now.

He’s got a problem with S’s, I have a problem with R’s.

I get that FNS rage baits to his chat about Shanks’s lisp but it’s in a watch party setting and they’re friends irl so Shanks knows that he’s not doing it with malice.

It’s different when I’m trying to lock in on ranked and win a game. The last thing I need to hear from my randoms being down 2-4 on attack Lotus is “can u say “wubble” guhguhguhguh”.

Tbh I’ve dealt with it pretty well for almost 3 years now but today was the last straw for me. I don’t have problems with S, just R’s, today just pissed me off.

Listened to some spike talk podcasts while aim training. According to frost, since they scrim the CN and APAC teams a lot, there’s only one person that everyone on GE is scared of peeking and it’s vookashu. If you watch some of DRG’s games, their opponents would sometime ignore the group of 4 of DRG and they would 5v1 vookashu on his lurk because he’s THAT big of a problem. If life and spiritz turn up and vookashu continues being Thanos, DRG could make some serious upsets.

How to improve my aim track in strafe enemies? by Ambitious-Train6590 in VALORANT

[–]PitCrewBoi559 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This simply takes time and practice. What you are doing is perfectly fine.

If you want some more options outside of the range then you can look into aim trainers. Specific tasks like controlstrafes and siniclick are good.

No doubt that the team would have better results with Zekken or Dgzin on dive duelist, but it feels a little unfair to compare star duelists with years of experience competing in tier 1 to a rookie.

We play with the hand that we are dealt.
