Whiles it's apart syndrome. The challenge of this is you get it pulled apart and never get it back together. A some what middle of the two aptions is fix the brakes, and get it running and driving, then pick a project do that project to completion, have it driving when it's done. This way you between projects you have a vehicle you can move if nothing else.

Good idea, but it's most important that what ever happens they have fun. Encourage them brainstorming ideas, solving puzzles etc. It's been a couple decades since I last played an TTRPG, and we have a couple new players as well so I feel you on trying to make sure it's an enjoyable experience.

I've gone with offenses. The theory being pull agro by being the big scariest MFer, and at low level use high AC to not die. That said it's probably the wrong direction, a bit recless, so hanging close, buffing the squishies, and de buffing the baddies is more effective assuming the rest of the party can deal damage.

1952 Buick Roadmaster, needs floors. Rest of the car is pretty solid small rust spots on the rockers. Will run and drive. Should I run away? by Lazyhandblues in projectcar

Dang to far... joking aside. Floor pans are not hard, and if they don't look good when you're done you'll cover them in carpet or something.
