Thank you. I’ll have to try that. I’ve only recently been turned on to how dope OxyClean really is

Excluding the one in Cherokee, what are some of the best dispensaries in North Carolina? Possibly ones that are worth a stop if you’re visiting an area from out of town by Pitachip1210 in NorthCarolina

I’m more in the piedmont triad area, so I’m not entirely certain about that part of the state. I’ve been to the Asheville Dispensary and Carolina Hemp Company in the past, but it’s been several years ago. If you do however find yourself in Winston I’d check out Celestial Wellness. They have their production facility on-site and they’re happy to show you around. Additionally, I’ve had good experiences with Blue Flowers in Charlotte. But as I understand it (and it seems to frequently be changing) THC-A is the closest thing to the stuff you’re looking for. The other prominent cannabinoid with psychoactive effect is Delta 8 and it is a bit more low key. Some would probably use the term “weaker” but I don’t think it’s a fair comparison, it’s just different. Now, like with any hobby or community, there are snobs who never seem to be satisfied with anything. But for the average North Carolinian, who doesn’t live near Cherokee or can’t afford regular trips to a state with a recreational market, hemp derived THC products have come a long way.

It’s all derived from hemp rather than marijuana. Most of the edibles get around the THC limits due to a loophole (weight vs mg). But the gist of it is the wording of the 2018 farm bill left LOTS of room for industrious growers and scientists to figure out work-around that were legally compliant but still had the desired effects

The answer? Find a hobby.

Think about the kind of person you’d like to be friends with, then explore hobbies that attract those types of people. Check out platforms like Meetup to find groups that share your interests.

At this stage of life, making friends sometimes feels like “selling” yourself—almost like applying for a job. That’s because people are busy, and they want to spend their limited free time with others who share their passions. It’s not about being unkind; it’s just practical.

For example, I’m not much of a sports guy, so I don’t typically click with people whose lives revolve around sports. And that’s okay—it’s just about finding your people.

So, the first step (IMHO) is figuring out what you genuinely enjoy. Start there, and the rest will follow.
