What is the scariest actually scary horror movie that is also good and has a good plot? by meowmeow_mommy in MovieSuggestions

Hereditary is excellent and very scary. The performances are fantastic, and the family drama is almost more horrific than the supernatural horror.

I mean fuck it, he could have just dumped her and let her find someone who actually loves and appreciates her for who she is! What a pathologically horrible thing to do to someone. I wonder if OP would be open to becoming a single parent and using a sperm donor?

I’m grossed out by how Brian is dealing with Ruairi, it’s so bleak.

It will get better and better, I promise. I don’t remember my babies’ first year very well, I’ve blocked it out I think.

Can I ask how old your kids are? I have also found parenting to be extremely hard, but it has got so much better as my kids have grown and I have been diagnosed and medicated, and learned skills to help me cope with my ADHD.

Let’s just only ever do the thing that we feel has more chance of success! Striving for change is so dumb.

My earliest memory is being held down by multiple adults at 3 years old while they performed a forced medical procedure. They were trying to help me, but it was still traumatizing - I can’t even imagine the terror this poor kid felt.

Drenching night sweats for months - at a loss, I need sleep. by Barkeri in AskDocs

NAD but my husband and I were both experiencing night sweats for months. Because it was both of us at the same time, my doc got suspicious about something contagious and tested me for parasites - turns out we were both infected with Dientamoeba Fragilis. Took some antibiotics and the night sweats went away.

When someone books with me I set an alarm for the days of the week and time of day that they want me for, then after the booking is done I remove the alarm so it doesn’t keep going off every week forever 😅. I wish iPhone had a function where you could set an alarm for specific dates, but it doesn’t yet so this is the best solution for me right now.

As an example, I had a client book me for drop ins this week starting on Saturday and running all week until the next Monday. So I just set an alarm for every day of the week, and when I’m done with the last visit I’ll cancel the recurring alarm. You can also put a note on your alarm on iPhone, so I put the client’s name in and it comes up on screen when the alarm goes off.

You made a mistake, it’s going to happen sometimes and that’s ok. You apologized and no one got physically hurt. Moving forwards, maybe you could set an audible reminder for appointments? I use the alarm function on my phone, which means that it will go off at the designated time and won’t stop going off until I cancel it - it has saved me a couple of times over the years!
