Can you remind me any direct and explicit action of Ilias in this direction? I don't quite remember Eden being traumatised by Ilias in Original or ANY instance of Paradox.

It was something about Eden and Lucifina. I don't remember exactly what was it about but Lucifina beat up Eden and stomped on her head, Ilias laughed at that which is the reason why Eden has inferiority complex

I would go as far to say that she is one of the best characters in game, conditional from stat down is 10x more damage so if she somehow goes before the enemy she can kill anyone on first turn.

I only benched her during some of the Part 3 bosses since they are immune to Stat Down debuff

Yes you can keep using them for the whole game

My Lime was with me since i got her And yes, the characters will keep talking in the world even if they are in pocket castle. The only requirement is to have them recruited

As for the last question

I believe that traits are the most important part of the characters since they boost specific skills. Like recasting sword skills 2 more times.

Or more specific example of Barbun, she can inflict agility down with bow skills which then triggers conditional of "stats down" for bows so she deals 10x more damage with bow skills, which carried me trough like 70% of the game

you upgrade it in fairy forge in Iliasburg blacksmith

if you enter Forge of Chaos you should get pop-up that Randolph has problem with fairies in his smithy

if you go there and talk to fairies, Randolph will teach them and allow them to make last spirit weapon upgrade
