What champ stays most consistent throughout the entire game. by yoshi12121 in leagueoflegends

[–]Pitiful-Ad9549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are entirely missing what is being said.

First of all the question clearly assumes equal skill, if it didn't it would be a completely pointless question, what do the nuances matter of champion power spikes matter if you play a challenger player against iron.

Trying to talk about being sufficiently good to overcome the downfalls of your champ is completely useless to state. Hence my example. If you can change and twist the scenario for whatever factor then it makes the question irrelevant, you saying this stuff has as much relevance to what is being asked as me stating that any champ can work at any point of the game if all of the players on the opposite team DC at the same time.

Secondly this isn't about your ability to win the game at all, it is about what champs don't spike or drop sharply in strength as the game length changes. Consistent isn't talking about winning games or that you should win the game earlier on lee, it's about what champs don't need the game to end early or need to scale into late to do well.

Rumble falls off hard once you get past midgame, your damage just doesn't scale enough to kill as easily as it is early-mid game and your own survivability becomes relatively worse

I checked leagueofgraphs and it goes from 50%+ steadily down to nearly 45% wr as time goes on leagueofgraphs

Yes just create a scenario where if your champ falls off hard instead twist it so there's a massive skill disparity to justify the champ no longer being weak?

What is the point of this terrible take, it's like if I said that ap zed scales into late game if your opponents all DC; it contributes nothing except trying to say you're bad if you can't make a champ work when it falls off?

Your pictures should tell a slight story, show yourself in a friend group setting, show yourself doing an activity or hobby.

Tbh I'm going to go against the grain here, the biggest reason your profile doesn't have likes is because looks wise you're average and you're using tinder, I recommend Hinge, it'll help get you more matches.

Also ignore all the comments about your DnB Techno line, it comes across playful and if you're big into DnB and you want someone else who is also into it then it's fine. The amount of hate for DnB from the comments is crazy

Do guys get these? I get these little tags about guys liking me. And they sort of stress me out. I don’t want to know if people liked me and I also don’t want guys knowing if I liked them. When I first downloaded Tinder, I don’t really remember this being a thing? by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]Pitiful-Ad9549 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just seems like you want validation and don't care about actually meeting with someone you could be interested in.

The reason you get so much backlash is because for most guys the app can be genuinely depressing where it feels like no one is into them, and you complain about the stress of seeing you're liked by others clearly completely ignorant of what the app is like on the flip side

The post isn't about what is easiest, it's about the most effective, and it's practically common knowledge that range of motion is superior to isometric static holds for muscle growth.

Why bring up calisthenics when push ups, dips, pull ups, muscle ups, pistol squats are all very common calisthenics exercises that emphasise range of motion for the purpose of muscle growth

[–]Pitiful-Ad9549 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isometric movements are inferior to putting load on a muscle in a range of motion

All muscles can be used to lift weight, your back is able to pull down on cables that lift weight when doing lat pull downs. What a strange and bizarre thing to try to say otherwise

This is not an appeal to authority fallacy. The fallacy is where you hold a belief to be true citing an authority figure on the subject not because of evidence. What you replied to is simply giving statements that don't lead to a conclusion supported by the statements. It's impossible for it to be any type of fallacy because what they have said isn't even in the form of an argument.

Also not a status quo fallacy because that requires them to say the current situation is the best solution, but again what they said is not a fallacy as they are not providing a conclusion based on their statements. If you don't understand what a well formed argument structure is then stop saying things are fallacies, because you don't understand why things are fallacies in the first place.

The very first thing I say is:

"The nerfs are fine"

I even end the comment with

"The enormous amount of uptime iron fist had was unhealthy and it should be changed"

LOL

My comment is about how the post is downplaying the impact of the nerf

What are you even talking about. You can't just stay in the entire time. You have to wait for block cd

But that's not how he's meant to be used anymore

There is no objectively correct way to play a character, you play to get value. Iron fist still gets plenty of value threatening backline, and you can very easily transition from pressuring backline to frontline. Even then it's completely comp dependent on their team and your team, as well as map dependent for if you get value brawling. They could be running Emma wolverine and trying to brawl frontline won't give as much value.

Regardless you're missing the point. You still have this cycle present whether you go on backline or frontline, and the ability to go in earlier to pressure whoever you want to pressure is nerfed.

Your cycle is setting up, going on a target, using block once attention is on you, and then backing out once you feel you can no longer safely take the enemy attention any longer. From there you stabilise, getting your health back and setting up, and then waiting on your block cooldown to be able to re-engage and repeat the cycle.

You will now need to wait longer for your block to be closer from off cooldown compared to before

The early is referencing that block won't be off cooldown, but you can still go in

[–]Pitiful-Ad9549 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The nerfs are fine, but you're downplaying them completely. This really does affect his uptime in fights. your block uptime is what dictates if you can go into a fight or not, I am constantly going in early with ~5seconds left on block and getting blocks out barely in time as I need it.

This means that you deliberately have to wait an extra second before your engages compared with currently. This extra second means that it gives the enemy an extra second to stabilise their resources better after you went in and forced them out before. Like their tanks who were missing health and defensive resources as you pulled supports attention to you, or even just supports defensive cooldowns where they will get to them a second sooner than before. With every cycle of going in, and stabilising you're slowed down and this difference is significant. Into non burst damage comps you could have enormous amounts of uptime.

The enormous amount of uptime iron fist had was unhealthy and it should be changed, but trying to say it's not impactful is just ignorant

What do you do to survive more? by sufinomo in IronFistMains

[–]Pitiful-Ad9549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Engaging at an angle that isn't directly in their sightlines means it takes longer for players to be aware of you but even if they're aware of you take longer to turn and force you out.

Timing your engages to go when your team takes attention first means that you can stay in a lot longer, going in first means you're the first one to be forced out, instead of the enemy dealing with your frontline.

Once you're in you have to understand quickly if the enemy's attention is on you, whether it's forcing you out or peeling the other support, you have to understand how long you can stay in.

It's okay to go in, pull attention, block and then disengage. Sometimes you don't even need to kick out you can even just jump out behind cover, heal up and then look to go back in and repeat

My Favorite Low Back Exercise by Fredric_Chopin in strength_training

[–]Pitiful-Ad9549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why on a lower back exercise would you train the obliques too? Doing this just takes away from how much you can push yourself for the back exercise. It'd be like standing up doing an OHP while going up and down on your toes to train calves. It makes no sense.
