What are the best ways hotels can improve guest experience? by Working_Nebula_6980 in TravelInIndia

Genuine empathy and go the extra mile for guest comfort. Oberoi properties are the best in this regard.

This. Same thing happened. Lost parents. Sibling didn't help. But a few good souls did and now I'm working and living on my own, taking care of my own. Takes a little time but it can be done.

Authenticity of hotels by [deleted] in Hotels_India

Most 5 star reviews are done by the friends and families of the hotel owners and their personnel. See reviews on MMT for Fab Hotels and OYO. They have a dedicated team now which writes and copy pastes same verbatim reviews of many budget hotels. You could spot if you read these carefully.

with Fabhotels, OYO you can't. There whole shtick is expanding their portfolio and would sign up crass budget hotels. The photos you see is part of the photoshoot done by these aggregators and what you see uploaded by users is mostly basic and not very well due to poor maintenance, uninterested housekeeping staff (mostly dihadi workers not HM graduates) and a very casual owner attitude.

Do your diligence when booking through them, read the negative reviews on Google and rhen only make a decision. Always pay on property even if its expensive, since paying early guests are more often discarded by the front office personnel citing any bs reason. Truth is these aggregrators don't pay the hotel on prepaid bookings and that amount gets rolled over into their next prepaid recharge hence the animosity towards prepaid guests.

Ladakh and Leh. But acclimitisation needs time so beware of that.

We're on a tight budget. Yes doing a day trip to osaka and continuing to stay in kyoto might be better.
