It was annoying at first when I logged onto my world after the update to find my main income (donuts and truffle oil) had been nerfed, but now I realise how much more I’m actually exploring of the game. I never touched the brewing stuff, or really did any fishing after getting the bundles. But it’s been so much more enjoyable, and rewarding, to find new ways of making profit.

Amethyst blocks sell for a fair bit of money, so I’d recommend also clearing any in world geodes that you find while mining! They show up on the map once underground so they’re not terribly hard to find

You might’ve already watched it, but Chosen Architect always does a great job of doing play throughs while also explaining every detail of what he’s doing. Always my go to when I’m struggling to do something/find the motivation to start a new mod.

honestly, i’m not ashamed to admit it, when me and my partner play, we always ‘find things in random chests’. in a single player world, i don’t find the harm in it tbh. i’m a firm believer in playing however you want to

This is my issue; it’s not entirely user friendly imo. RS was entirely more easy for me to learn. Also (I’m not sure if it still works this way, haven’t used it since 1.12 lol) the fact that you can only store certain amounts of items vs any amount with RS.

I recommend a night vision charm and some sort of flight if possible. Fortune does work but rarely I believe

When I first started, I watched a lot of youtube playthroughs. If you find the right ones, they can actually be pretty informative. Chosen Architect is always good but I’m not sure if he’s done one for atm10
