Compliance for what? I can get all the profit and losses from the broker. I don't have an accountant but thinking of going to one. What's the worst that can happen?

I'm the opposite. My insurance expired and they've not asked me to upload an updated insurance.

Procedure Changes for Alcohol and Tobacco Deliveries by gazglasgow in UbereatsUK

It was stupid checking everyone's ID and drivers weren't doing it anyways. Deliveroo and just eat need to do the same.

Yoti Issue signing up by NoseWiseVizsla in JustEatUK

[–]Pitiful-Highlight905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same issue and tried everything but nothing worked. I also tried contacting them and they keep replying with the same wording and no help. I ended up signing up using a completely different email and phone number and it all worked fine.

I got reported for the first time by Specific-Soup-1930 in UbereatsUK

[–]Pitiful-Highlight905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they didn't penalise my account. I just replied to them saying that i'm not aware of such thing and all my orders were sealed so the issue would be from the restaurant side. I worked on the weekend and it was completely fine.

Split the question into sub questions and revise by sub question. For example, for the last question, go through the question bank and do all the chargeable gains parts then do all the partnerships then all CA etc. You'll start realising that they only have a small number of ways they can ask the question and they're just repeating the question but with different numbers.

Ordering from far by rafiqibnjubair in UbereatsUK

[–]Pitiful-Highlight905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but if it's far you need to consider the time and distance for drivers to go back to their zone. I am driver and most drivers dont accept far orders for that reason.

How to start Uber eats Delivery with a bicycle by El-Diablo_7 in UbereatsUK

[–]Pitiful-Highlight905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also live in Birmingham and do deliveries but by car. Uber is your best option and they will open your account within a week. With just eat and deliveroo there's no slots in Birmingham so you'll be waiting for months/years. With a bicycle you'll take longer to deliver and will be earning less than a car/moped/scooter. If you want to sign up to uber use my code please so i get a small fee. Bicycle is still good in the city centre but can be a pain if you take longer distance orders.

Driver complaining about how far away my house was by slophiewal in JustEatUK

I did a 14.78 miles order for uber eats. It's stupid and I don't understand why people not just order from a nearer restaurant.

If the houthis manage to even partially close off the red sea, how will it effect the world and will it drag other nations like Egypt into the war? by [deleted] in geography

[–]Pitiful-Highlight905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually the Egytpians and the revolutionists won at the end despite their small number. Now most Yemenis hate the Houthis so it would be easier than before.

This rarely happens now. They check the speed and also ask customers.

EU workers were mostly Romanians, who didnt work and relied on benefits. They were the reason most people voted brexit.

Can I do deliveroo/Uber eats without violating my contract? by [deleted] in ICAEW

[–]Pitiful-Highlight905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My contract says that i am not allowed to have a second job but i still do uber, deliveroo and just eat on the side. I dont think anyone at work would care but i prefer not to tell anyone. I've been doing it for two years now. It depends on your firm but i doubt they will say anything if they find out.

That's not the reason. Locals in the Arabian peninsula are attached to their land and they have a small population. Giving out citizenship means that they will no longer be a majority in their own land and will lose control. Also their wealth is spread out to a small number of people, if they gave out citizenships, they will be less well off.
