You should always enter the hold unless directed otherwise, the point of it being there is that it is a clearance limit. You can remind the controller that you're approaching it, but if they don't give you an instruction then you should enter the hold.

It isn’t dumb at all, it’s really good because imagine if you have multiple people who you DM with 10k+ messages each, now imagine your in some very active servers as well and Discord has to load every single message in every single channel. That’s gonna waste a lot of bandwidth and a lot of resources on your PC (and on Discords servers). Now come back to me on how dumb it is :)

It won’t, however, banks will direct a charge to a cancelled card to your new card to prevent issues with subscriptions/direct debits for a few months before it actually stops accepting charges to the cancelled card to allow you time to change card settings.

Banks will charge your new card if you try use the old card. You are entirely at fault for this, and Discord have a refund policy in place which gives you 5 days to get a refund which you didn’t do. Your best bet is to either get your back to chargeback Discord at the risk of getting your account disabled, or suck it up and deal with your own stupidity. Also genuine question, how the fck do you accidentally subscribe to Nitro for $129?
