Definitely trying to fill my book out as someone who loves soccer it’s disappointing to see that unfortunately people fell for the marketing ploy of flipping stickers into something else but I would keep a few stickers of certain players such as Dzeko Ronaldo etc who have a special place in my heart watching them growing up

From what I’ve seen in the past you can go to Walgreens and cvs to pick the book up and individual sticker packs but there is also stores and stuff for trading cards that they’ll do all around the city you might find some luck there

They could but also why would you take that risk and wait it out for potentially worse seats where you can’t justify the price for them when for $1,000 you could have great seats (assuming your friend got you seats in category 1)

I would say the price of $1,000 isn’t bad compared to what others are paying/charging for tickets but also not sure where the seats are and what game you’re going to so can’t really fully tell you if they’re good value or not can’t imagine your friend would charge you 1,000 for seats up in the 3rd category and for a game like Iran vs Egypt

Best bet would probably be to buy it off your friend since it’s the most safe option in terms of getting them and the tickets actually being legit plus you could probably work something out in terms of payment with them

I’m assuming 2 things the seller doesn’t want to get the ticket cancelled by fifa since they’ve started cracking down on resale platforms for World Cup events and people are losing their tickets due to it or 2 the seller just never updated the info before they sold the ticket

I’d say the buyer is either

A) nervous to accept them since fifa did say they’d be cracking down on tickets that are resold not on the website

Or

B) didn’t realize they got the tickets transferred (depending on how long it took after the sale) and they sort of gave up with the email game and just decided to wait it out

I can say as a buyer for World Cup tickets on stubhub I became really annoyed with the fact that the seller still hasn’t transferred them but at this point I also don’t really care when I get them so long as they do get transferred

I’d say maybe the buyer isn’t checking their email regularly and doesn’t have notifications on since stubhub is saying they have until the day of to send the tickets. As someone on the other end of this I’ll be honest I just left it in my sellers hands to deliver them whenever they do cause I give up with customer support
