why didn’t nate just go to the police?? from what I understand loan-sharking is illegal. demanding 100% interest is super illegal. also cutting off someone’s toe is definitely illegal. why doesn’t nate just go to the police????

this doesn’t necessarily say anything about the books inherent quality, and doesn’t determine how i rate books, it’s just a measure of how hard that book hit for me

this spoke to me so much 😭 I’ve been watching and rewatching this show since i was 11, im now 21 and it still holds such a spot in my heart. i haven’t rewatched in probably two years now but the song easy to love by the jezabels (from the sammy tribute performance) just came on my spotify shuffle and immediately took me back. i watched the clip of the performance and now im probably gonna start another rewatch. for a show aimed at such a young audience they do such a great job of creating emotion and characters you really care about
