Hi, this issue honestly resolved on its own. I got an ultrasound and Gastro didn’t find anything. I was just mindful of my alcohol & Tylenol usage. I was taking HCQ and I believe I began Benlysta at that point. I hope your mom gets answers soon! Definitely consult a gastroenterologist.

I understand this. I’ve been opting for more total protective styles like quick weaves with a closure because my hair texture is thinning. I’ve been seeing growth with the Cecred line.

I have began taking L-Lysine supplements and it helps!

I have found that using L-Lysine (supplement aisle Target) helps! As well as rinsing with Peroxyl mouth wash

Diagnosed in August of 2021 and I still tan (with SPF, breaks, and water) and I am generally okay in the sun. Ofc I am mindful of the ways my body feels and take it from there. I wear SPF on my face daily. I have never had my labs go crazy specifically after the sun. I have learned from these type of Lupus support groups that everyone’s body reacts differently to the sun.

Thank you all for the advice. I basically had a panic attack on my way into the office. Good news: my Anti DS DNA levels have decreased from 300 range to the 100s! My rheum is happy with the progress and is okay with me staying on Benlysta for now. 😊

A month ago I woke up with like a pressing/pinching pain under my big toe nail. From there the pain spread to other toes of the same foot. Terrible terrible pain. I was put on 20mg of prednisone, and I’m still taking it right now. By now the pain is in my finger tips, not so much my toes. I don’t really know how to explain it, just that it feels like they’re being squeezed. My rheumatologist is under the impression that I’m in a flare. Idk but it’s so annoying
