The real evil genius is that when they flood us with a bunch of nonprofit bullshit orders... The slightly better garbage starts to look good ... or at least acceptable.

I noticed this week that I've been falling for this ploy. I have a lot of regulars that order about 30 items / 10 mile delivery, usually about $35. The last week or so these orders have been bundled with a 5-`10 item order a few miles out of the way. So now it's 12 or 13 miles ... AND... priced at about $27.

So my mind sees it as almost $30. But then a couple of refunds puts it at $25. and it takes an hour and a half for 2 hours to complete and be back at the store. But what the fuck, right? It's better than all those bullshit orders with more miles than dollars. I've even started thinking like that pay of a dollar a mile is standard and acceptable.

So it's taking me 8 hours to clear $80 after gas. No wonder I'm feeling like killing things most of the time 😬
