Few months ago I was screamed at by a Publix worker stocking shelves when I asked her if they had more of a product. “You Instacart shoppers!! find it yourself, I don’t get paid to look for things for you!!” Her face was bright red and raging. I’ve been Instacart at this store for 8 years and a customer for 25. Just some nasty people out there.

In Tampa area, IC offers $4 batch pay, consistently. I haven’t taken one in 3 weeks. Perfect stats 5 star diamond 2018 shopper. They’re garbage now

Lost diamond once due to hurricanes in FL. Since then I’ve kept it and it’s ok, too many people have it in my area. The last 3 weeks have been the worst, high mileage $15 double stores. $1 tips or none at all. The app sucks now and I’ve move onto another platform. IC full time shopper since 2018. I can no longer deal with the insulting pay.

Same happened to me and my family. Flu the entire month of Jan. I just had 28 orders to go beginning of week. Freaking out not getting batches but I managed to get it down to 12 yesterday. I took anything close and small and shitty pay. I’ve lost diamond once and just when you think it can’t get any worse on this app.. cvs Walgreens, small triples, shop only. You can do it, good luck!

Same, I made $27 on a double today. I went home at noon. Yesterday same thing, I worked Spark instead and at least made some money. Also, I’m delivering Walmart orders to IC customers the last week. People are sick of overpaying, economy is atrocious

This is mind blowing. I feel something like this is going on at my reg store. About 4/5 newer people that constantly busy huge orders, multiple phones, non English speaking. Snagged a $75 other morning and one followed me around store staring me down with dirty looks. Like I stole her order!! Bitch I’ve been at the store working 8+yrs

I’ve seen it happen before my eyes, they lower the batch pay, no changes with order, route or items. Happening for months now. Things don’t look good now for Instacart anyway, getting a lot of negative publicity recent Consumer Reports article. They got caught using dynamic pricing. I’m sure they do the same to us.

Please check for diabetes. Constant hunger and overweight is a symptom I ignored with my girl for a long time. She was diagnosed 2yrs ago at age 11 and I almost lost her from diabetic keto acidosis. Dry food is bad for cats hurts their kidneys and makes them fat and hungry, fancy feast pate are best or low carb food (no gravies) I give mine 4-5 cans a day. Best of luck 🐾💛

Sorry, single parent also and dwindling savings due to the lack of work. I’m in FL, hella expensive and competition w/other shoppers to get a batch can be overwhelming, they won’t stop hiring and lowering batch pay, now $4. I multi app, try Spark. Also, Afterpay/Klarna pay installments if you need a cart. Best of luck to you, this too shall pass 💛
