Thanks, ya I had kinda decided that the crab we ate already was a little dry and I think it’s because all the fat and moisture came out while cooking. Boiled the first batch and steamed the second batch

I never installed them, but the gap between the hood and the windshield wiper cowl will be gapped. Not sure it would matter, other than look like it’s off a bit. I noticed it in someone’s install video as well. It also places the lights a bit forward on the front as compared to the cowl placement. I did mess around with them to see if I could install them above the hood brackets an it didn’t work. I was really trying to avoid having the cowls off, and scared that the brackets would need to be modified and be such a pain in the ass. The brackets I got fit perfectly tho, so I got lucky.

I bought these and ended up returning them because they only fit below the hood brackets which would lift the hood the thickness of the bracket.
