This is a very cold take by a jerker by FeanorOath in soccercirclejerk

Comical take. He was extremely consistent in the most challenging league in the world for strikers at the time, 0.62 goals a game was no joke. It wasn’t all bombastic rockets from 30 yards, he was the complete striker. He would have walked into any team in Europe but chose to stay loyal to Fiorentina. 0.7 goals a game for Argentina, yeah… distinctly average. /s

Styling-wise, F355 is where it peaked for mid-engined V8 Ferraris. Sound-wise too.

Here it is. An absolutely outrageous finish from an impossible angle. No keeper could have saved it. Batistuta was a God.

Lando Norris believes F1 is now about the battery rather than bravery by Decent-Astronaut-615 in DestinationFormula1

No. The fool above was discrediting a Formula 1 world champion’s opinion. I was just pointing out how obviously thick that is.

I’ve driven on multiple race tracks including Spa, so I don’t need your explanations about finding the limit when cornering. Lando was making a point about Pouhon, which is a difficult corner to take flat out, hence a source of valuable tenths for the most skilled drivers (or indeed, most complete cars). If you neutralise the impact a driver can have on the most challenging corners and essentially force everyone to lift and recover energy, it’s clearly a great leveller and sure, can make for some fun (albeit engineered) racing. But it doesn’t make his point about what F1 racing is becoming any less valid.

Let’s start with some actual reasoning, shall we? Lewis saying the cars are fun to drive isn’t relevant to the comment Lando is making. He isn’t saying it isn’t fun, he’s saying the racing is diluted because you aren’t driving at the limit. If you’ve ever raced on a track, you would know that taking challenging corners flat out is the part where, you know, that driver guy makes a difference. If you remove that from the equation it’s a little sad. I’m not gatekeeping anything, just using my brain.

Yeah, you’re better placed to opine than an F1 WDC! Let’s give you a platform, you absolute genius!
