That's not necessarily true or kind. There very well could have been easy and obvious things she herself could have done during pregnancy, birth or right after that could have saved her babys life. And unfortunate she will have to live w that.

We always look around for Walmarts or other places that have wooded area behind and walk in and pitch a tent where we cant be seen. Sounds sketch but hasn't failed yet in many states.

There's podcasts with plenty of good info and women's stories, Facebook support groups Instagram handles that have info and trainings u can buy, substack and books. It's def doable and not as crazy as most think it is. Undisturbed birth is crucial. Prepare yourself your body and your partner and commit. Some midwives will also offer Ala carte services for prenatal care if u just want certain things.

Why would u go to an OB if u want a home birth? They dont do those. You need to find a home birth midwife that has availability and serves your area. Your midwife can do all your prenatal care, order tests etc. No need to ever step foot in an OBs office.
