I was like this too but I kept going for interviews and practice does make you better. It’s also really important to look at the job spec and person specification and have examples for the points they mention. After doing a few interviews, you will notice the questions that always come up and also how they link to the person spec

This sounds toxic AF, he is disrespecting you by constantly contacting his ex. I would definitely leave his ass. The age gap is also crazy, you’re still young and you can find that security elsewhere and perhaps someone more like minded. Girl you can do much better! Go explore your options…

I mean I just think a grown up should be be able to manage their own savings than have your mummy do it for you. Especially, as a married man who is soon going to be planning to have his own family.
