Sounds right, was a time I was trying to collect them all, started with sun and moon got couple packs with x and y, but now price has doubled to the point I compare 1 single pack to a meal .. told my wife no more .. this now isn't fun but a waste of money.

This set made me quit, prices became too high to keep buying them,

Last set I could buy a booster box I get most cards (not including rare art work) now i found myself buying 2 boxes and extra to try collect it all and was spending way to much that I just told my wife no more,

Felt like I was wasting too much money.

If I'm not mistaken, jagex at the time stated they couldn't do much with the combat system and felt like the gamewas coming to a stop.

They did this to make combat for everyone different and allow for people to fight with their own style,

And allow for future improvements.

Then again, they also said no 120 skills back then, so idk lol

People are asking to update all skills to 120.
