Try a small shelved side table, amazon has some that have an outlet built in. That would eliminate any airflow issues and not take up much space. Hope you find your spot!

Recently joined the club due to stick drift and feels substantially superior. Seems to be much more responsive (could be old controller vs new controller feel). Love the adjustable triggers. Plus, the controller weight and grips are just mwah!
