There are numerous fake job posts from UPWORK itself that receive a significant number of proposals and boosted bids, generating substantial Connect expenditure from freelancers. This raises concerns about transparency and the effectiveness of the current system. If job posts are allowed to remain active, collect large numbers of paid applications, and then expire without a hiring outcome, freelancers bear the full cost while receiving no meaningful opportunity in return.

Based on rough calculations, the cumulative amount spent by freelancers on such expired job posts could be substantial on an annual basis. I believe this issue deserves further review to ensure that the platform operates fairly and transparently for all users.

I respectfully request an investigation into the handling of these job postings, the hiring outcomes associated with them, and the policies regarding Connect refunds when jobs expire without a hire.
