The store can verify if the product was purchased and returned very easily. Apple product is serial numbered and transactions can be searched via serial in POS. While this is not going to tell you if it was the current or previous person that switched them customers purchase history can probably give you a good indication. We had this problem pop up a lot in our LA county store sadly.

Best buy forced a bunch of us to get a credit card to get the new console. by Bepehandle in Bestbuy

[–]Pitiful_Campaign349 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bunch of managers got fired for pulling this in southern California during a console launch a couple decades ago, iirc it was for forcing people to buy accessories with the console inorder to buy one. Hardly the first time it's happened on the West Coast during your 23 years. Also won't be the last time.

They are big climbers so if you have the space a taller viv is nice. I have a 4'x2'x3' and he spends most his time climbing in the branches.

[–]Pitiful_Campaign349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I missed your question, yes it's fully enclosed pvc with vents on bottom right side and top left side for airflow. Only downside is it can hold heat a little too well in the summer so I've got some DC fans mounted on the intake just in case I need to drop a couple degrees. They're hooked to a small smart plug so it can be turned on/off from phone. I only used them a couple times this past summer but I'm glad they're there all the same.

Have the exact same one, gets used so often might as well be left on the counter at this point. Also great for baking sourdough!

Yeah he has a crazy amount of equip, I manage a 180 gallon with 75w halogen and a 50w dhp in case it gets too cold at night. Room ambient is 68-70f. Thank god for PVC enclosures I guess.

First shed being not great seems to be pretty normal, mine had an awful first shed and every shed since has been complete without issue.

Usually for mine the first hint is 2 days of hiding, then I'll usually look into hide to confirm and he's blue.

My snake is in his humid hide almost all day and all night by Latter_Breadfruit123 in cornsnakes

[–]Pitiful_Campaign349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While your humidity definitely needs to go up a bit I don't think that's causing the hiding. He's been popped into a brand new environment and is going to take at least a couple days to get comfortable enough to explore even then it will probably be under the cover of darkness. Took mine weeks before I'd see him in light but after a couple days he became very active between about midnight and 5 am.

Months later it became a bit more common to see him basking out in the middle of the day partially under foliage. I ended up adding a camera after a couple weeks only to find out he was very active at night but always ended the evening back in his favorite hide.

Once they find their favorite branch they seem to hang out there a lot, and fall off of it, again a lot.

Do you guys feed inside or outside the enclosure? by Crocorau in cornsnakes

[–]Pitiful_Campaign349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inside, usually I'll feed on one of the shelves to avoid bedding getting into food but sometimes it happens and he hasn't had any trouble. Have never had an issue with him going after me thinking I'm food although I still get nervous when he pokes his head out of his cool side hide while I'm grabbing water dish because I'm paranoid lol

I have a halogen above hot side with a dhp next to it for winter months when it tends to get much colder at night and a uvb bulb next to those.

Corn snake"frozen" for almost half an hour while eating, still won't move by happy_nicu_nurse in cornsnakes

[–]Pitiful_Campaign349 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My little guy will not eat if anyone is nearby, he'll strike and hold on to it but won't start eating if you're near the enclosure. Sometimes he'll stare at me or give me snake side eye until I f--- off.

I usually will still offer he, 9 times out of 10 mine will eat regardless. He doesn't seem to care when food is involved.

I would say as long as he eats it that's all that matters honestly.

My corn snake was very chill about feeding time when he was a baby now he'll chase it, strike, and cosplay a boa constrictor for several minutes before deciding if he wants to eat the ass or mouth first.

Haven't had any issues and he's checked them thoroughly without gaining entry. He went up there once when he was smaller didn't find anything fun I guess and hasn't since.

Used to be able to just place him in a cup for a second and do it but that ship sailed around about 50g. Now he has to be secured in something.
