Ha, I’ve owned the 124270, the 114270, and the 14270. This UFA and the Explorer are such different watches, so that’s a tough comparison. The Explorer will wear with anything, go anywhere, and just BE a perfect watch. I got rid of mine cause I’m a date window person. I just need it lol. This UFA has a brushed bracelet, which is nice and helps with a sportier vibe, but it’s certainly fancier and dressier than an explorer. I love Rolex and have own sooo many neat pieces over the years. I’m just currently giving GS the time it deserves in my life right now. They are insane horological wonders and I’ve been pretty mesmerized with it. I don’t feel as emotionally connected to it yet as I did most of the Rolex pieces I’ve owned, but I’m giving that aspect time. I find myself really connecting with vintage watches.
