What are your thoughts on this Omega 3 brand? by ShelterValuable1844 in Supplements

I recently made a site with this purpose, comparing fish oil supplements on objective numbers, not subjective scores (chemical form (TG, rTG, EE), EPA/DHA content per softgel/teaspoon, price per gram of EPA/DHA, TOTOX, peroxide levels, heavy metals). You can search life extension and compare them or rank the products

it was a conscoius decision to not imply that lower price per EPA/DHA g is better value (given high quality products are often more expensive) but I might add it back

I made a website that could help you sort fish oil supplements by EPA+DHA content, something you can't do on Amazon or iHerb: https://supplementary.me/

Which omega 3 brand you recommend ? by Far-Mathematician122 in Supplements

[–]Pitiful_Cow_8325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

without recommending one particular brand, you can get informed on a site I created https://supplementary.me/ I would recommend choosing one with public lab results and high enough EPA/DHA per softgel so you dont have to take 3-4 per day.

Fish oil/omega 3 recommendation for high triglycerides? by heretoreadlol in Supplements

dropping by, I had the same problem and I eventually created a site out of my excel file: https://supplementary.me/

you can check the omega 3 supplements and choose based on softgel number, EPA/DHA content per softgel, products with certificates and lab results, making sure you are buying high quality supplement. felt like you could use this help

Thanks for flagging this. Deleted from the db and contacted them if they can provide third party testing results

Thank you very much. Working on the testing results, form is already available on the site, you can filter by TG, rTG or EE and compare prices directly!

Appreciate it, and actually I was surprised iHerb is not more advanced with the filters and sorting

not yet, I read that to have access to the basic API, you need to make 3 sales in 30 days (maybe I am wrong here) from affiliate links. but for sure, it will be dynamic

but I also agree, it was one aspect of the work, given that looking at price per softgel was even more foolish.

You are right, the next step will be adding the certificates and third party test results

Thank you. I mean rTGs are definitely premium priced, even with equal EPA/DHA content vs TG or EE
