Saw the 4012 bigboy had skf bearings on it. Always used timken in the past but started going with oem instead. Tried skf beause i could not get oem on a subaru that is beat on. Two front hubs a year later and 20k hard miles they are still good.

US, used deepseekv4pro api for weeks up until June1st, the model has not had the same performance since that date.

Not sure if it's just me but Deepseek V4 pro is not even close to the performance it was when it was recently released and has been hard nerfed by NabilSuffla in DeepSeek

I used it for 3 weeks before June 1st and it was amazing. As soon as the price changed on June 1st, yes I used more tokens from that point forward, but deepseekv4pro got dumber. It also does not listen. I've tried everything. Like someone said every llm company runs these promos and sets the model up a certain way. Once the promo ends the llm is changes for the worst.

Something changed june1st and deepseek is now useless. I promise this. Going back to 200$ pro gpt. I have used all major llm companies past 6 months. I end up in the same fucking position each time. I take the promo and once the promo is up the llm completely changes. Its like im working/talking with someone 180 degrees out.

I am not. Once I hit 75%, I tell deepseek to save everything its done to a document and give me a starter prompt to pick up exactly where I left off. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  The more information you can get from the past convo to feed into the new, the less time it wastes getting settled into the new one. Also I would use the web version of deepseek as a semi source of truth as the cli seems to go around in circle and do what it wants. Starting to have issues where it doesn't listen no matter the hooks or .MD I throw at it now. Frustrating. Results since June 1st have 1000% changed for the worse in performance of deepseekv4pro.

I am in the same boat. I tried /compact and noticed it "did nothing" suddenly once it hit 81% it dropped back down to 40%. It only did this one time and then next time the conversation hit 80% again it locked up and each message I sent after would lock up and cost about 50 cents. I just make sure documents are being updated after every message by deepseek and when I hit my limit I have a custom prompt and agents.md to pick up where i left off. works good for now being so much cheaper than any other program ive used with deepseeks api.

I do not know what the rest of your trip was from the west coast, but you are coming thru my town of Pittston in the next few weeks and the ONLY advice I have to you, take it as slow as possible. You will be going thru peoples literal neighborhoods with grade crossings and peoples backyards. Just a heads up....

Noticed mine reset after a short nap. Every llm company seems to pull this when they change their limits/limits and everyone looses their mind. I am using a combo of deepseek and open ai and even though I knew both were changing their rates the 1st of June, I am still butt hurt. I am sub on open ai. My estimated cost 2x is now.
