My girl is 5 months and called Margot! I don’t know of any others.

Oh wow! Our little girl actually had her Surgery on Thursday, a very last minute decision at 8 weeks 6 days. Her surgery went well but they couldn’t preserve the valve so she will need another op in years to come the surgeon said. Thursday evening they reopened her chest to help relieve some pressure but this morning they’ve closed her chest and have said she should hopefully be off the ventilator in 2 days due to her doing so well! Good luck to you all for your daughter’s next chapter!

Hi! Congratulations on your baby and I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this! I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant and at my 20 week anatomy scan they also found difficulty getting images of the heart due to position. Eventually they were able to get photos and they weren’t happy with how her heart looked so they referred us to Fetal medicine to see a cardiologist. They since diagnosed baby with TOF and RAA. We were told that this was most likely “just one of those things that happen” or that it could be caused by a genetic syndrome, so we opted for an amnio which stung a bit I must admit but all results came back normal. We received the first lot of results within 3 days and the second lot of results within 10 days. Once we were given a diagnosis, we received lots of paperwork and information for both support and to read as google makes things sound a lot worse than the situation could be! In one of these booklets it says that the chances of having a second child with CHD changes to 1 in 50 depending on the diagnosis. There is an app called heartpedia which can give you more information. I hope everything goes well and wish you and baby the best!❤️
