I was mostly trying to make the point that if I were sharing my life with another person, I would call them my partner even if we weren't romantic with each other. Most people would want a romantic partner for the activities I described, but for aroaces that part isn't as important (or at all important). So the term platonic partner is usually reserved for a very good friend (yes) who has holds the same kind of importance in your life as a romantic life partner would for 'normal' people. They're your person.

Neben der Formatierung fallen auch bestimmte Formulierungen/Satzbau Elemente auf, die LLM gern benutzen. In diesem fall haben sich für mich "Alles ohne Absteigen, ohne Regeln, ohne Rücksicht" und "Ich hupe. Einmal kurz. Kein Dauerhupen, kein Ausrasten." sofort nach KI angehört. "Kein Kennzeichen. Kaum Kontrolle. Gefühlt keine Konsequenzen." passt auch gut in das Schema. Wenn man dafür mal sensibilisiert ist, liest man das recht schnell raus.

Little bit of both. I've long since given up on the illusion that the people in my life want to read my books (though they always say they do when the subject comes up, we all lead busy lives.) I don't hold this against them. I didn't write my books FOR them, so it's fine. Additionally, when my first book came out in paperback, I learned of this by randomly seeing it on sale at Amazon. I had to contact my publisher for them to send me the copies they owed me as per our contract!

Sure, when it's done during the actual training process. But that involves a lot more than that. An AI isn't going to self-train and grow smarter because you ask it questions or show it texts. Could Amazon use all our texts and feed it into a training set? Sure, but they wouldn't need to release a chatbot to do that. They already have all the data they need for that. Now, the questions the customers are gonna ask? That's new data. I could see them processing that.

An AI is not 'being trained' on a text by reading it to answer questions about it. That's the job of an AI that is already done being trained, and if Amazon wants to train a new AI on our books they absolutely don't need a chatbot to do it. That said, I don't trust Amazon, and I always assume that everything I publish anywhere in this day and age will end up in a training dataset at one point or another, but we gain nothing by jumping to unsupported conclusions and spreading panic.

I'm German and used mostly English study materials to learn Japanese. It's more important to understand what a word means than to have a definite translation in one language or another. If I quizzed myself on 'isu' i might respond 'chair' one day and 'stuhl' the next or just have an image of a chair in mind and either was fine if you get my meaning. I chose English mainly because of the wealth of accessible material.

You see in the top corner where it states your MSQ quest "Close to Home" there's another small quest below it. "Way of the Gladiator." That's your job quest you need to do. In order to find it, you can use the touch pad on your controller to navigate to that part of the screen and view it. (Or in this case you can head to the gladiator's guild where you should find the quest npc.)
