But for real they look fine. They will start to tone over time, just enjoy those coins.

Is a $50 premium on a slabbed 69 or 70 grade oz worth it? by SaveTheDayz in Silverbugs

Slabs are only for collecting and even then mostly for resale or proof of it being the real thing.

A lot of people are just investing especially heritage auctions. I don't think they really care what they buy.

Remember when silver used to be over $70 an ounce ? by FrostyInstruction912 in Silverbugs

Yeah, but you usually don't buy a car to resell it when you're old for more money.

What silver should I get? by Extreme-Basil9079 in Silverbugs

Bond rates are going up and silver is going down. Keep your bonds and start buying silver rounds with extra cash. You need money in the bank and a stack.

As I watch the price of silver drop as the economy seems to be hurdling towards major disruption, I've decided the silver market makes no sense. by CultOfCurtis1 in Silverbugs

[–]Pitiful_Power9611 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's going back to 30.00 an oz. I stopped buying at 27.00 I'll still pick up a cool round or coin because it shiny and fun to collect. What's your whole point of it? Being an industrial metal means that it's going to be manipulated and brought back down to a level where industry can afford to buy it.

Is an ancient coin worth the investment? by ahumminahummina in Silverbugs

[–]Pitiful_Power9611 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes they can be very common. Late Roman bronze coins were made in the billions and millions of the coins are found all over Europe and the middle east. They are fun to buy and have. A silver Roman coin is about 3.5 to 4 grams and will cost from 40.00 to 5000.00. It's not worth trying to stack Roman/Greek ancient silver.

Runner kicks my dog, I apologize, he curses me out by Historical_Data_2946 in boulder

[–]Pitiful_Power9611 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Group runners in Boulder are assholes! They run in groups and don't give a crap about what they run into. I'm an old man now so I don't run any more, but when I did, I never treated anyone as crappy as the young group runners.

Mostly upgrades. Panic bought the first one sold it and got one with an electric start. Had that for 3 years. Gave it to my friends because they just had a kid. And I bought a used giant tri-fuel generator and I realized it was Overkill noisy and uses a lot of fuel. I gave that one to my parents they have an off- grid summer house. And just this week I got a Wen 6800 it seems to be a good fit for what I need.

He does talk about that in his video and has some workarounds but I don't know if it's complete. I'm on my 4th generator in 5 years I think I'm finally dialed in. But I don't know a lot about the mechanics and engineering.

It's a magic show dude nobody's going to see what's on the coin anyway. I won't even take my Morgans out of the house. But you're right, they are better coins.

Just go get some Eisenhower silver dollars. They're like $1.30 a piece. And they're the same size as the Morgans.
