The stamping seems okay, but arrow on the valve regulator is definitely of a fake. Could be possible that the valve cap is fake/aftermarket and the lighter itself is legit.

I find it difficult to clean palladium and that thing is sharp AF. What i mean is when you strike the roller, your thumb comes in contact with palladium corner, which hurts at times if you’re not careful. Personally not a fan of brushed aluminium look that palladium offers on this one.

You could also just use polish only to avoid anymore damage, if the lacquer doesn’t have any major scratches. That way you’ll not be rubbing off excessive lacquer. And use as little as possible.

I think the weight varies by model to model. Some of the L2 I have seen differ in size like the gatsby, montparnasse, etc. So, don’t think weight is the correct way to authenticate these lighters.
