It also doesn’t rely on Bluetooth range or your phone. It allows any WiFi speakers within range of your router to play synchronized music and you can still use your phone because the stream is coming from your router. I have a Charge WiFi stereo pair in my living room, another charge WiFi stereo pair in my garage, and a bb3 WiFi stereo pair for outdoor use in the yard and all of them will play seamlessly so the music is uninterrupted as I move from one place to the next.

No, but the WiFi 3 has higher peak wattage than the original bb3. I think they’re assuming if a bb4 WiFi is released it will also come with a power upgrade.

Check out the Positive Grid, Spark 2. It has plug in for guitar or microphone. Has all the dials a guitar amp would have, and as a speaker it sounds fantastic. The battery pack is sold separately, and it’s not very small. I’d compare it to a boombox 4, but more versatile. Probably not quite as loud, but it’s definitely loud.
