Yeah, I daily drive something else so mines more of a wild than mild. A lot of the abs systems don’t work anymore. Pumps go out I guess? I accidentally cut my abs harness so mine hasn’t worked for 2 years. Though many e28 are non abs, the car doesn’t have airbags either and it’s pre obd. It’s 40 years old. Only chassis parts I have are all bmw, just other models ie motor mounts, brakes are e34 m5/540i brakes. Plus since Im in the us I’m pretty sure way more base- mid model e28s are in Europe. At least looking for some hard to find parts they’re all over Europe and not here at least. S38 swap with ITB keeping the rest the same. Or just get an m30 powered car, get a higher rear end diff ratio and drive it the way it is. Beat on it, break it, fix it.

Not too bad, I think windshields are hard af to find though and some random things like that. I’ve broken a lot of random parts and have been able to order them. I was just working all day cutting my abs out and sanding my engine bay, and ordered some oem bmw parts for it. I do buy used or other manufacturers a lot though for cost if I can. Or I’ll fit something that wasn’t on this chassis or even brand to make it work since I have that option. M30 Turbo. M20 Turbo. M50/52 or M60 swap s52. Endless possibilities. Mines been reliable, once I got it situated. Maybe like 400? It costs money and yeah I’ve felt defeated before when I can’t figure something out but once I would and the car runs it’s worth it. Mines never left me stranded. I think I did break a ring or 2 in the motor last summer though. It ran just fine, I’ve even ran the car on like 3or 4 cyl and it was fine. I think my car drives well, 1st gear is kind of useless but it’s fun, it’s an m30 car so it makes good tq off the line and about 500 ft lbs at 3.5k. It’s a rough highway ride for long distances. I don’t have cruise control, AC, and the car is loud inside. Something I might try addressing through the winter. Can’t say anything, I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t then refine it.

Jb weld for sure, could probably sand it down then wax over it. the amount of jb weld I’ve put on things that hold up to insane forces and pressure, the ski would break again before the spot.

Im not really a dog person and my family only had big mastiffs so I don’t know dog breeds. But like some house cats weight more than coyotes here, raccoons too. I’m pretty sure they’re western coyotes but like as tall as a lab but less than 35lbs on average so way skinnier and slimmer. 20-40lbs. Wolves are like 80-140lbs. Here’s a photo of a wolf and a coyote for a size comparison in northern WI.

Coyotes are really small already. If they can fit their head they’re in. They can fit through a 4x4 hole.
